RATRODS, GASSERS, CLASSICS, CUSTOMS & Salvage Auction Flip Cars all the Builds 2024 Year In Review!

In this episode of Copperhead Kustoms we recap what was achieved in a busy 2024. All the Builds from the garden art turned into the baddest budget build on the planet the 1948 Bedford Hot wheels Legends Tour $2K Budget Build that we show from the start where it was in the garden through the full process of roof chopping, chassis shortening the full build so far, it's only a couple weeks away from completion and the transformation is absolutely amazing. This will be completed in early 2025
We look at the 1938 Chevrolet Rat Rod that was mainly worked on in 2023 we didn't do much on it this year, but we did achieve a more refined look by matching the patina paint throughout the mismatched panels. The plan is to have the Chev finished in 2025 it doesn't need much to achieve this so having this one completed this year should not be a problem.
The 1928 Oakland roadster pickup Rat rod which was also mainly built during the end of 2023 and is also close to completion, not a lot was done on this build either this year but we did achieve a couple of cool fabricated parts adding a custom numberplate centre console including the B&M shifter finally sourcing a spare wheel that will work and fit into the original spare wheel fender mount and then making a custom tool holder cover that inserts into the spare wheel as well as adding some other cool bits and bobs this build will be a real head turner when it is finished as stated this is Brett's long term build.
We then take a look at the new daily driver and shop truck build the 948 Austin Loadstar we basically purchase 99% of the components for this build and in the 3 episodes we firstly introduce it and go over the plans and parts for it then in the next 2 we get the body prepped and get the desired patina look by adding some paint to add a bit more colour to the original patina. We also start some of the interior aluminium panels to show what the plan is, this build will look amazing once finished and Brett is biting the bit to get on it and get this one built as quickly as possible. The plan is to have this completed in 2025.
We take at look at some future build to look forward to with the road trip where we purchase a Bedford R series COE cab, another Bedford o series that will be restored not customised, and two old HT Holdens one a sedan and the other a wagon all these beauties are basically rust free and will all be great projects in the near future once we finally get them all home, so a few more road trips will be happening in 2025 to collect all these beauty's.
We come to the Mighty Desoto will the blown 392 Hemi this car will be kept forever but it didn't come easy with mechanical issues and paint issues the makeover of this beauty is amazing it is a true head turner like no other and is winning trophies at the local shows. The paint job needs to be seen in the flesh to really be appreciated with its custom lace roof and vintage patinaed airbrushed sign writing. The 392 HEMI is a motor most hotrodder's are definitely envious off and this one is finally bug free and running like a champ, and who doesn't love a blower. Although the car is driven weekly it isn't finished as there is still some big plans and wheels in the future of this beast.
We then look at the Flip cars some cheap some expensive some easy fixes some were totalled and look unrepairable. But we didn't stop with just repairing them and getting them back to their former glory condition some were taken to another level with custom paint using candy paints airbrushing and lowrider graphics the results of the flip cars were amazing especially when you lo9ok at the condition of these cars at the start. Throw in some drama with pro shop paint failures and this section is very interesting.
All in all, a lot was achieved in 2024. We believe that the channel is still under performing especially when you look at the quality of the videos and the quality of work being achieved so get on board Like, comment, subscribe and share it with your mates and let's get this channel growing.
