Ive hated phoenix resale since he popped onto the scene which has been prob 3 years,after retro Rick got really big . The whole scene is wack, but despite that I do like rif. Guy is totally on the path of righteousness and the Lord. How he can hang with phoenix and not drive straight into a tree....ah bless that man's heart

LOL this is what I do with my retro video game store! I no longer price software in advance so Phoenix Resale and all others looking to profit from my business won't have a chance. No retro video game store should price the games in advance... the prices fluctuate too much and there are too many people like Caleb out there trying to profit from your mistakes.
That makes it fair for everyone.

just found your channel, me and my friend have been watching pheonix resale for a while cause he pisses us off so much. taking goods that are at the end of their life cycle, being sold at pawn shops and garage sales because they're so unwanted and then flipping them at the maximum price. he is the middleman between the asshole and the toilet. love that you're out here doing this too, fuck these guys this is my new favourite channel!!

Ive recently collected for PS3. Brand new at it. I went into my local Powered Up games in Ohio, and I was probably the only guy that was super excited to get every NCAA and Madden game that was made for PS3. The counter guy was like Ive never sold so many sports games in one transaction Lol.

It’s funny you brought up Custom Game Cases because I ordered them on Friday (I’m in Canada), got 30 GB/GBC/GBA cases, 10 NES cases, 10 SNES cases and 10 N64 cases and they are blank because I make my own cover art. I can’t wait to see my games in Plastic cases

The custom cases are okay for just random stuff. But if theres games you had when you were a kid or have sentimental value, then go for the original stuff. This goes for cart stuff N64 and older or GB games. Theres no excuse for fake ps2 and up cover art. I especially hate the original cover art inside generic dvd cases that are so flimsy that the art can bend.
I love these PR videos. Hes such a fuckwad. I can understand if say you have a 20 in your wallet and theres a game you want marked at 25 and you ask if they'll do 20. For a game you want that is. But hes just a slimy scumbag.

I get that people dislike resellers but this guy is literally putting in the footwork and actually buying from brick and mortar stores and not just buying things 100% off market place and what not so he is helping out these stores . Yeah because it's an actual store lol. Like Fall Blade said in his comment. There's a lot more overhead and cost for running a business. And going to an actual store and building a relationship with the business is much more valuable than buying a game off of Amazon and Ebay for the same price. I'm still not stoked about businesses having the same price as Ebay but if I had to choose between buying from a local store or Phoenix Resale, I'm going with the store.
The difference is that retro game stores don't overpriced everything to make a profit. To clarify, a retro game store will buy anything. Sure, they may buy a game from you for 1 dollar, but they will resell it for 5 or 6 - unless they are Game Stop. Phoenix Resellers only buy the games he knows that will make him a profit. He is also competitive with other buyers online and offline by visiting other gaming vendors. A typical retro store - that isn't DK Oldoes - will only buy games from customers who visits their stores.

Riff aka Aaron Stapish has turned into Retro Rick and Phoenix Resale’s b***h. If you didn’t know this about Riff before his current channel Pixel Game Squad he had a channel named Retro Liberty. It was channel was doing great then one day he deleted it and Riff disappeared from social media. Turns out he was cheating on his wife named Chanel with a girl named Elizabeth Panos. Elizabeth gave Riff another chance as long as he stopped making videos and deleted his channel and social media accounts. I guess time heals cheating wounds because Aaron now going by “Riff” returned to TH-cam without any explanation for his absence. But those who know know. Google Elizabeth Panos and Aaron Stapish.

Every flee market you go to is 90 percent re-sellers, it doesn't make a person bad for re-selling but those who get carried away and get addicted to the idea of making as much of a profit as they can often times takes advantage of vulnerable people, sometimes even children. There is a video on Collectors Luck channel of him buying a large bin of vintage SNES games from an underage kid for like $20. Only thing that was wrong with the games is that they were sitting in the attic for a while and needed cleaned...
Because they add to inflation, by buying up everything on bargain to sell it higher online and then inflate the value for everyone else selling the same item to up their prices based on it.
Hate phoenix ButtResale, he make abuse of resellers by asking discount and adding the same discount to up his prices, and makes also isadvantages of collectors by nailing them

As a reseller who moved out of the gaming niche years ago I’m so fucking happy I found your channel. Phoenix resale is quite possibly one of the worst humans to grace the platform and the fact he has so many viewers is sickening lmao. Guys a fucking tool. I’m rarely ever in a position where picking up games is taking away from a true collector as I’m almost exclusively word of mouth/private picks when it comes to games. You got my sub and I will view every video you make from here on out 🫡
