Love the car, planning on getting one in the next 6 months. Although I have a hard time even finding a 2014 e550 sedan let alone one in good condition with lower than 70k miles. I see from your other videos you work at a dealership, does that make it easier to find these cars?
@@witastick thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah they are a rare car in general. Being at a dealer doesn’t really give any advantage, these cars have more private party value than retail value. I would just look on autotrader, cargurus, Edmund’s, and FB Marketplace. I had to go a couple states over for mine
@@ItzCashCam cool thanks appreciate it, really wanting the e but I might just have to settle for the cls550 lol. Keep up the vids I love seeing vids on the m278 platform!
@witastick yeah I was gonna say if you are open to CLS550 there is some out there too, I would say the newer the better (especially with the 9 speed). Just watch out for that air suspension.
@@ItzCashCam yeah thats what im worried about the most on them except im somewhat sure youre able to swap it out for traditional suspension? Ive heard the 9 speed is faster than the 7 speed but more fragile? I own a 7g tronic and man are the shifts slushy so maybe the 9 speed will win me over.
@ yeah 100% you can convert to standard coils. I have also heard 9 speed is better than the 7 speed. The 2015+ CLS550 also have updated screen and steering wheel
