The steering going opposite really messes you up on the landings like you said. It needs to recognize when you’re in the air so the steering is oriented correctly. I find it odd it turns this way, I grew upon mini bikes and motorcycles. Seems like that’s it’s biggest problem besides the brake dragging. I’m still excited to get one.
Amazing the way it jumps the park bench seat and looks like modes 2 and 3 are on point for the area you where in Earl, hope to see heaps more in the coming videos cheers brother
Looks fun to me. I'm probably getting one when my budget permits. Looks like there is a learning curve. I will say try a RC Plane, stopping is impossible until you land.
You can glide and the throttle stick seems to stay locked into where you leave it I ran planes as a kid but yes nitro planes where a lot of work so surface is where I ended up 😮😂

You’re doing good tho!… seems once you know how the bike behaves, there’s ways to manipulate it. I still have strong faith that there will be a V2 of this dirt bike! I also have strong beliefs that there is going to be a street race bike! The knees on the race bike rider can serve as the “Training wheels” when it leans in on the race track just like in real life situations. Super fat wide rear tires for those steep sharp angles… come on baby bring it!!🔥💨
Definately gonna be a learing curve for everyone..different modes tweaking the settings to find the spot that works best for what your running in. That could be a turn off for alot of people. I like a challange.
playing with the mx dial in each mode helps but like to said switching mode to mode and adjusting the mx all at once us tough but it's a learning curve
you have to tilted yourself the bike in turn like reel bike (same in reel bike in slope if you dont tilt the bike continue to be to stand up straight) you're confusing it with a car that has 4 wheels, you need practise that is not a car, adjust the side rollers to a lower height so that they can run again .💗💗💗

It seems to me when I was watching you switched modes the first time it worked better when you guys had throttle control and you need to take a close look at the front Break caliper issue I like them Great videos and content!😉👍📹💯✔️👋👋👋😂🤣😂
It's a pretty thing. It has a feel of novelty instead of a fun rc- if that makes any sense lol- it's not for everyone- I honestly believe the hype will go away. It slowly seems to be as I read more and more comments of people saying basically the same thing it's not for everyone but with outside another terrific video brother! You always speak of the truth only a few of the TH-camrs that do that so once again thank you brother I can't believe somebody would run up and steal somebody's RC car that's crazy that's a video all in itself right there brother😮
I wonder if you can slow the gyro down to find that happy spot between being able to turn shap & stay upright. I know someone might be able to accomplish that. Either way a track will have to be designed for it.
Great video Earl. I’d have stayed in mode 1 for most of this terrain especially with jumps. It is dirt mode, but it lets you throttle up more for jumping and get that front end up, but not in the gimmicky wheelie mode way. Mode 2 is going to limit you lifting the front end. Bent spokes is a definite bummer. You did great with the berms
Body English is necessary for real world dirt bikes, the gyro seems to do a great job of keeping up right but stops the trigger control from letting you slide smoothly through (or out of) some turns... that's why I've been questioning gyro adjustment...hard to explain it....
I have watched nearly every Promoto vid on youtube, with most recording and driving with one hand, and no complaints. Just keep practicing, and stop blaming the RC lmao.
Getting the real facts here, the promoto hype is over!! I tend to watch the guys head on these vids, rattling back and forth all the time is distracting. Gonna ruin the looks in slomo too. So planted after that big bench jump though!
I saw on Amain’s video that if you adjust the stabilizer bars you also have to adjust the gyro not sure if you did that or not. Pretty sure I’m gonna pass on this RC. It’s definitely cool but needs some more R&D

It looks like the track and areas you are running on are really not designed for the bike. I think when more of them are out there in the hands of the hobbyist, then we'll see some tracks designed more for this bike and until then I don't think you'll see it's full potential on a track. Have you tried adjusting the knobs that tune the gyro responses? Maybe less is more or the other way around??? Just a suggestion, I am still waiting on my backordered Promoto MX.

Yes one of my speed rc on a drag race pass guy rode up from the desert on a motorcycle and tried to grab my rc that was out of range luckily I got range just in time to hit the trigger and get away I posted the video about 2 years ago
One time , I was playing front house , my daughter bus stop few houses to corner , I grab her come back and rc gone , only people drive by me was landscape truck who was now on opposite corner , still radio in hand , I asked them didn’t want just accuse and no one seen anything, I pull trigger and rc buried in grass hidden in back truck Herbie “ slash “ I went little ballistic after retrieved my rc . People suck man

She did pretty good for the first time driving it i think. That gyro thing is a little weird. If the wheels were weighted on the outside in the tire area it would probly be alot better. And disable the gyro thing. Lead weights in the tires might be better
So much whining. 😂 I’ve watched a few videos now. I’m thinking of buying one. The biggest problem at the moment is the track. People are running these on bmx tracks and rc car tracks. You would not run a formula 1 car on a rally course. This bike needs a track built to suit it.

i think you are mixing up your modes... mode 1 is dirt, mode 2 is omroad/wheelie suppresion, and mode 3 is wheelie mode

Yes as wheelie mode seems to jump way better in dirt and asphalt as the first dirt jump videos was on 3 as well crazy 😜

turn the ms6 rate down that will give you less gyro and more lean :) Keep it in dirt mode they said that gives you more throttle for jumps

I agree I feel Losi on a v2 version might be able to set up this gyro better so we have more control in the air on the ground works great 👍

Maybe you need to turn the opposite way when you are on an embankment or side hill. It is hard to do . To turn the wrong way in the middle of a turn.
Was that on one battery?
My brake shoes broke first run, I took them off and my bike does a lot better. To me the front brake is not necessary

What would happen if u cut the voltage to the gyro a bit.
It would slow down as I’ve been experiencing and drives different
To see it might control some of the wobble you are experiencing. Like you said it interferes with turning and jumping.
