bro you not alone there, so calm and relaxing and of course with it peak moments of excitements where you stop studying and just admire a perfect, flawless sounds analyzing each and everyone of it sounds skillfully put in...amazing
Shoutout to my boy Leeroy T for introducing me to the Godfathers Nostalgic sound! This is the best gift a friend ever gave me! Salute the studio time, the keys that kept me locked on this Deephouse!
Can you do something like an interview or Q&A session with someone? perhaps Rosetta will interview you? I'm very much hooked by ur music but also very interested about how all this came into being, no offense but ur not 26 anymore :-) so i'm wondering how you came into Deep House. Like how was the climate in SA regarding house music in general and what made you dive into it? My journey into SA deep house started with Dukesoul (R.I.P) but maybe you are able to tell us more about the rise of house music in Africa and why you think it's so powerfull? In my humble opinion living in the Netherlands, it's pretty comfortable here, so comfortable we might have lost contact with spirit, the heart and most important a sense of home, something SA deep house brings me back to. As far as i'm aware SA face a lot of difficulties including crime but besides that i have a feeling the people of SA are still connected to a deeper source. There is a creativity in creating house music which combines easily influences from around the globe (like jazz influence and a touch of Soul) but also i'm a bit concerned by the western influence on SA. There are a lot of music platforms that are selling their soul to western kapitalism. Like the boiler room sessions which are openly exploited by western brands of whiskey's, cars, clothing and beer brands. That doesn't have to be a problem as long as SA people are able to maintain there roots, in other words it's getting to commerzialized, The Major League Amapiano might be a good example also but i'm curious how you look at this? Does SA has to "STAY TRUE" as one of the brands say or is this change a good thing? much love from The Netherlands
