Here I am in 2022, sending you best regards from Germany for posting these super cool videos! I just installed the strut on my 2016 QX70S 3.7. No removing of the 3.7 engine cover required, 20 min job! The results are really there. In normal suspension mode (how I normally drive) the steering response is faster, none of the previous diving experience. In sport mode the difference is more subtle, but still there. In normal mode the bumps translate to the whole front end, no more of the almost air suspension feeling after the installation. Gonna test it for a couple hundred kilometers and give an update.
This was done wonderfully. I've never seen the strut bar done under the engine cover. It looks natural and it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. My question, could I perform a similar process on my 2015 Q60 Sport manual?
@@AtlasWilder technically you could make one yourself, but the ecu and fuel system would be the problem... such a shame... only the germans got the love...
@@AtlasWilder we could make one here in Poland too, we've got great engineers, but its all about profit... not many 50 users in the world tbh... i wonder how much tq the auto trans can hold and the awd system. What also pisses me off that akrapovic didnt make a dedicated full exhaust system for this car or any other well known brand. everything focuses on cayennes, x5s, q7 and no love for the jdm suvs... 😞😒 Im planning to get a qx70 5.0 myself this year, found a decent one, but it got sold in a day 😐!
FX the 5.0s are about 1 for every thousand produced very rare to locate in the states as well. Profit is king for mass producing kits for sure. I wish someone would just make it, I’m sure a dozen people would buy it. Good question about trans. As far as exhaust Borla is the only that has caught my eye, not sure if it’s true dual? I hear true dual will loose torque down low. Heck there isn’t even a Intake kit.
Pdossou32 yeah I’ve seen people retro fit some on the v6s and a couple v8s on infintiscene. The Facebook Infiniti Fx/qx group is a marvelous resource also.
How to you still like the bar? I'm interested is getting one myself. Do you know of any company that does a true cold air intake for our vehicles? Love your channel and Insta!
The strut bar is a must have mod for handling! There is no true cold air intake for our cars and non that will offer better cooling and Hp than stock. You can look up custom build ideas on infinitiscene.com however the consensus is bigger and longer I take tubes reduce power. They do increase sound of that’s what you’re looking for, otherwise I would just keep the stock air box and get Aem dry filters. Thanks for watching!!
