so, speaking from a 2002 Sierra 1500, this device will do all the basic obd tool diagnostic functions, gm specific diagnostic functions and gm specific programming functions without the need for GM/ACDelco subscription software? Lets say i want to know if or why my hvac climate controller is not communicating with the blend door actuator controller, this would be the tool? or if I wanted to reprogram my BCM to turn off interior lights as soon as doors are closed and locked, or i wanted to program the bcm to keep fog lights on when headlamps are switched to high.. this tool can do that? can it do it without the two year subscription to GM/ACDelco SPS2?

It doesn’t go much further than 2013 I believe, so 2019 is too new for it.

It will read all the things, and makes it easy to program keys and key fobs, but reprogramming would require a subscription to change the operations.
So any bcm comunication or relearn of brake sensors or throttle sensor etc requires subscription?

EBay from Hong Kong. It is a “knock off” but is the only one available new. It still runs great today.
