    Thank you for making this so easy to understand. I had studied Acupuncture years ago, but haven't in years now. I've forgotten so much, but have resumed desperately teaching myself to treat my cat in Kidney Failure. You made refreshing my knowledge sooooo easy.

      @@Acuproacademy, i agree, at first i was frustrated with the friendly talk at the beginning of your videos because I was desperate to get to the information, but that's because I'm desperately trying to refresh my knowledge to treat my cat that's in Advanced Kidney Failure. Shortly I realized is that is exactly why i was attracted to your classes. You make us feel like we are sitting with a very knowledgeable friend, which relaxes us, and makes Acupuncture less intimidating. Now I'm trying to relax, and just listen to your videos. When i was overwhelmed, trying to teach myself, the knowledge was difficult for me to absorb anyway. I'm remembering and understanding information much more quickly now, so i can apply it to my cat using Acupressure on deeper levels, and feeling more confident. 💓😺

    Dear Clara, I can't praise you enough for these great videos! I love the way you sort out these confusing concepts. And for me Zhong Qi is specially hairy since I've seen it meaning different things in different places. For example, in the course I'm doing, it is used to mean the same as Jing Qi, that is, Essence (and to make confusion more confused, many times they right it as Zong Qi! OMG!). To be completely at peace with this one, I would like you to confirm if I am right to understand that what you call Zhong here is a correlate of Zong Qi in that while Zong Qi is the chest Qi (Upper Jiao), Zhong Qi is the abdominal Qi (Middle Jiao)? They are just ways of naming the Qi that is acting in those regions of the body, is that right?

    Does anyone know how to get rid of the subtext? It covers half of the page and i can't see pictures. Also, because it's voice activated, most of the words and information is misspelled, or just totally another word. I've tried getting rid of it through my phone, but haven't found a way.

    Hi I really like your videos, but in this one you accidently switched your Yin/Yang explanations. Yin = Spirit / Yang = Matter

    • @Acuproacademy
      @Acuproacademy  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Joshua, I must have been tired when I recorded :) Because it's always Yang= Spirit and Yin=Matter
      I looked where I talked about this, but I can't find it in this video...Can you let me know which slide or what substances I was talking about when I made the mistake? Thanks :)

    • @JG-rn5hv
      @JG-rn5hv 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      AcuPro Academy I may just be wrong if that is that case. I have only read (in taoist, not accupuncture texts) where Yin is representative of the spirit(/spirit world) and Yang is the material. Everything else in your video matched everything else I have read so I could very easily be wrong! Sorry if thats the case!!

    • @Acuproacademy
      @Acuproacademy  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't be sorry Joshua, the beauty of natural medicine and in particular Chinese medicine, is that it has many schools of thoughts and many opinions :) The way I was taught is Yang is Spirit because Yang is heat, constantly moving, upward, heaven, while Yin is considered matter because it's more still, downward, earth and grounding. Hope this makes sense :)
