A lovely video with a handsome leopard. Almost as handsome as the one we saw! I really liked the feature on the elephant footprint. Maybe you could do a regular feature on different tracks, helping ones who may not be as knowledgeable so we can also learn how to identify different animals by their tracks.
We have been to Savuti in October 2013. Camped at CV2 with water still running in the channel. Elephants came down to drink. In 2016 we were there in March. So much greener. We loved it. Seen a lot of animals including the northern pride around Quarry Hill with very young cubs.
Once again for the great videos! We absolutely love Botswana with all it’s splendour! We really enjoy watching your adventures, feel like we are there ourselves 😊 It would be great if you can share your itinerary, also the specific campsites that you stayed. In Savuti we stayed at CV7, but it was during December, would love to see the shade situation on some of these campsites during winter time. In regards with food, everyone’s taste is different. Love the way you guys are doing it. Looking forward to the next video
10km/l. That must be one of the best in the bush I've heard of. Especially in thick sand. We get around 5-6km/l. Sometimes even less. Also nice to see all your sightings. We are busy editing our Savuti trip as well, and it is nice to see/get a refresher on the area.
Thank you for this very interesting video. Keep your good work up! We will be in that area in October for the first time and hope, that it will be a god time. Your sundowner + cracker with cheese and sausage is a great idea. Regards and greetings from Germany
that so exciting that you have your trip planned for October, its going to be hot!!! Cheese and sausage are the best, i believe German sausage is the one tho!
My favourite Botswana “fix”. Great episode. Nothing wrong with steak and garlic bread but whatever you try, I believe the answer is to keep it simple. Some camping channels belong on Masterchef, but whatever floats your boat!
🙂🙂 thank you! Keeping it simple is the name! Masterchefing is to complicated and messy in the bush, who wants to spend all their time washing dishes in the dark…., so yes 💯 keep it simple. Thanks for watching always
I am enjoying the new pop up labels naming the animals and areas etc. Also those sunrises are AMAZING. So many good sightings in this episode. More little segments on tracks and facts would be fun 🤩
We are going to visit Savuti in December this year. I really hope there is not much rain at this time. We love to watch your videos. It´s very authentic and you deserve more subscribers. Cheers, mate.
That absolutely awesome, you going to have such a great adventure. Honestly savuti 👌👌👌 how many nights do you have? Wish I was going again in December, but have booked for July and I am already getting excited for it 😂 btw thanks for watching 🙂🙂🙂
Nice episode! I like that bush cocktail recipe. Question on the potjie, if you start cooking it at lunchtime but want to go for an afternoon drive, presume youd want it cooled and put away before you head out? (Just wonder about campsite pests like baboons or monkeys). Or did your friends stay in camp? I am heading to savuti in Oct, so thinking about how we'd do daytime dinner prep!
Such a good question, tbh if I remember correctly they just left it slow cooking on the fire and risked it for the biscuit. As far as I remember savuti camp doesn’t have a baboon problem, and the honey badger and hyenas really only start their rounds in Ernest once the sunsets. In general I would not recommend leaving food cooking, but some areas seem more calm during the day,
Hey, we would love to, we are heading to the kalahari in a few weeks so will look for the brown hyenas. And we have some cheetah in the next episode of the savuti diaries! Thanks for watching 🙂
Such casual way u guys have no drama so refreshing
Always cheers me up watching your videos. Good job once again folks 👍

Wow, that must have been amazing seeing water in the channel! Hopefully it comes down again one of these years! I would imagine the whole area changes

❤
Thank you 🙏
Superb sightings! Which app do you use there?
Hi, thank you, we use Maps.me for navigating, its a offline map and its free
Garlic bread and steak perfect
Nice episode! I like that bush cocktail recipe.

What app were you using to plot your trip and sightings
It’s an app called maps.me I highly recommend it, and it’s free to use
Isuzu Dmax 3l 10km/l in town and around 7km/l in thick sand
That’s not the worst tbh , our Toyota surf used to average 6km/l , is that a diesel?
Can you make on the Cheetahs or Brown Hyaenas of Botswana please ?
Hey, we would love to, we are heading to the kalahari in a few weeks so will look for the brown hyenas. And we have some cheetah in the next episode of the savuti diaries! Thanks for watching 🙂
@@exploringbotswana OK 👌 thanks
