Sorry mate, but the green beast with the big voice is an ex-WAGR S class engine. 'S' class locos were built in WA. Can't tell you any more about it right now. Very nice footage by the way.
The Pichi Richi Railway was formed in 1973 with the first working bee on 28th Oct in hot day of 40 = 50 years since start of the Members of PRR of 240 set as Formation Members at 16.9.1973. Members list was 266 members at 21.10.1973. Trains first run on 20th July 1974 = 50 years of trains running in 2024 - th-cam.com/video/sJPDE3V_hCI/w-d-xo.html - th-cam.com/video/BhIpsE50O_s/w-d-xo.html - th-cam.com/video/lremtM9kUMA/w-d-xo.html

Ok, so...on that strange little engine pulling just one car...where's the fuel and water? Cute little thing...You Aussies tell me about it! EDIT: OH, it's one piece, not an engine and a separate car. (I may have had a wee bit too much to drink...)
The Coffee Pot - 5.05 you can see the "fire coal" in the bunker of the engine - then at the carriage, second class the water taker is below the 2nd class
Thanks for visiting our railway, you picked a great weekend to do it going by the weather!
Glad my helpful locations helped and I see me filming in this too
The coffe pot. Adorable.
All Aboard. All Aboard. Enjoy the ride.
Great job Greg

@@chriscarpenter4487 so a steam injector then? surely this thing would burn through fuel and water
