Since “just a cabin” guess a Jack n Jill bdrm plan with shared full bath would suffice. Then have a 3/4 bath open to living area for guests etc. Definitely would redo some spaces to make more user friendly for senior citizens. TY ☺️
Thank you for leaving storage doors ajar so we can see the room’s purpose! I assumed the one by the kitchen was a little pantry (or is it mechanical?) and you labeled the washer/dryer area on the plans. Nice little home. Love a wood stove which could heat all but the Master Suite. Wish the guest bedroom did have to walk out and around to the bathroom but it beats giving room a bathroom that guests would have to go through a bedroom t use.
Try using a pocket door for that coat closet at the entry - saves space and is less fussy than trying to shut the front door and then get the closet door open. Exterior - love the views on all sides. Very well done! Living room - very nice! Love the big windows and the woodstove. That console and huge TV are just not my cup of tea when it comes to decor - takes up too much space. I prefer a smaller TV, maybe some artwork, and have bookshelves in the corner by the windows and part of the wall next to it. The wide sill beneath the windows is fantastic - perfect place for plants. Kitchen - nice! Not wild about the style of the cabinets, but there are lots of styles to choose from. Need a window over the sink, though, for both light and to look out over the yard whilst washing the dishes. Bedrooms - cozy, yet open. I'd take the 2nd bathroom out of the front bedroom and turn that into an office/nook. The main bathroom is plenty in a small house like this, and honestly, I prefer a shower to a tub. Overall a really good design and one I'll consider.
This is the kind of house I love. Bold angles and geometric windows are my jam. Please consider carrying the geometric windows to other areas of the house that enjoy angled ceilings (e.g., the dining room). Thank you for avoiding the current trend of storage lockers by the front door that only look good when empty or have a couple of artistically pleasing items staged therein. Your coat closet makes much more sense and is a much better solution. You have given me new hope, LOL! The layout is good though the kitchen really needs a dishwasher and a window over the sink. Superb home - would definitely live here!
The house is stylish. Though the kitchen has adequate cabinets, there is no pantry. The flaw in the plan is that the secondary bedroom must walk through the dining and living areas to access its bathroom. This would be unacceptable for me.
I think the door in the dining area could be a pantry or mechanical room. I would not build this unless I were rich and used this as a vacation home. LoL!
Window over kitchen sink is a must, aka, a deal breaker if not there.
Thanks for your suggestion Sasharaj .

Thanks you so much for your comment Allisonshaw, The pocket door for the coat closet and window over the sink is sound good.
Me encanta el papel pintado en las paredes sobre todo el del cuarto de baño , todo un acierto
Thanks Kenday.

Hey, Bobrogers thanks for your feedback and the kitchen has a tiny pantry.
Not bad but didn't see a laundry room. Also have to have a window above the kitchen sink.
There is a laundry room you can see it in the floor plan at the end of the video.
