The living room needs windows on the front wall! I'd eliminate the fireplace and put my TV and bookcases there. Although the kitchen has very few upper cabinets, there's a nice, big pantry. There are extra closets in the bedroom hallway, and if the two near the entry aren't both needed for HVAC and hot water, they'd be great for more storage. Overall, a good, functional plan.

TV STAND IN LIV. RM TAKES UP TOO MUCH FLOOR SPACE ...PLACE THE TV ABOVE THE FIREPLACE INSTEAD . PLACE THE LONG SOFA FACING THE FP. NEED A BACKSPLASH BEHIND THE KITCHEN SINK AND UPPER CABS. TRY TO ALWAYS PLACE DRAWER BASES ANYWHERE YOU CAN IN THE KITCHEN. NOT GOOD TO HAVE TO GET ON YOUR KNEES TO DIG INTO DARK DEEP SPACES. PULL OUT THE DRAWERS AND BRING THE STUFF TO YOU . USE 42 " TALL UPPER CABS FOR EXCELLENT USE.SHORT CABS LEAVE A DUST SPACE AND LESS STORAGE. WRAP YOUR CABS AROUND THE WALL ON EACH SIDE OF THE WINDOW....WEIRD ANGLE ON THE BASE CAB NEXT TO THE REFRIGERATOR .

I would have to swap places with the kitchen and dining room. I might make the window that looks out to the deck/porch a door as well but there is still tons of room for a big kitchen and lots of storage. Then I could take the pantry space into the MBR closet. Could the fireplace be put on the outside wall with windows on either side? The amount of storage in this house is fantastic!

This is a solid little home. I’m glad to see people taking front entry storage more seriously - your solution is innovative. It’s a little weird to have a sitting room with no windows and a kitchen with no dishwasher but all other boxes are ticked including ample storage space. Nice home!

This plan checks the boxes. Thanks to a generous pantry there is plenty of kitchen storage, though I'd add an island for counter space. The table could be moved towards the wall to make room for it. The sun room can be either alternative dining or living space for at least 3 seasons of the year. If the HVAC and water heater closets were not needed for those purposes they would provide good storage, so it's good that the plan permits those choices.

Would prefer a bathroom in each bedroom. Don't need bathtubs. Just shower. Would like storage linen/ bedding closet in each bedroom/bathroom. A kitchen pantry would be nice. A couple of storage closets. How about a laundry room.

I wouldn’t build a home with a laundry room dryer vented to the roof or self venting. No formal dining area either. The wall between the living room and family room would come down to make the front room a connect for a larger living room and family dining. No thanks.

Kitchen has no dishwasher, but other rooms are good.

The two outside reasonably sized decks are nice.

I like the overall layout, but I would rather have the side deck on the left side of the house removed and a two-car garage there instead, especially since it leads into the utility room. Besides providing security for any vehicles, it's nice to not have to run through the rain into the house with groceries, packages, etc., especially older couples. Add it needs more storage - nice size linen closet, coat closet. Is there attic access? Where to put seasonal decorations or other miscellaneous items? Personally, I would also need either a third bedroom or a den/library/computer room. A pantry would be nice in the kitchen, plus a dishwasher and microwave. The sun porch is a nice and welcome addition!

I don’t see a laundry area.

Whatever happened to actual coat closets in entryways? Where is kitchen storage? Open shelves? Again, dated, impractical, and easy dust and dirt collectors. Perhaps that round dining table and chairs would be better utilized if switched with the too-large-for-the-space, back-to-the-kitchen rectangular table and chairs. No; I see neither dishwasher nor pantry. Now I see where a pantry might be: Utilizing some wasted space in the laundry room/pass-through exit. Why the chair in front of the "mystery door" in bedroom 1? Furniture in both bedrooms is too large, but the "brass" (I know, it's AI) bed just doesn't work. Finally (I'm sure you're glad to see that word), squeeze-in closet in bathroom 2 brings mold and mildew to mind. Sorry, but since you have plan(s) for this design, I presume you expected some criticism. Good luck!

Too contemporary inside. Not enough storage. Needs shelving replaced with cabinets in several areas. No pantry. Walking through laundry to go to side porch ... ?

where is the space for air condition system / hangler and water heater? Also space for linens /towels ,utility closet since there is no garage . I mean storage area ? I get it is a small house but I wonder if that can be added

I would love to see this home done in mountain stone on the exterior.

Cute, but reminds me of the air base housing I grew up near in the 60s, especially with the mid-century modern accessories. Also, the laundry in the garage is a total non-starter. Too much dirt and slop collects in the garage. How can you do baskets of clean clothes on a floor covered with grit whatever rain or slop and whatever else is falling off the car. Someone wasn’t thinking this through.
