Attention! The base in the video is not properly installed. You have to secure the base also with the seat belt. You can see this on the stickers on the base. The sticker with this Information is under your left hand in the video.
No, check the pictures on the isofix base station. There are 2 pics, one in the Front of the station and one an the Back. The base station with isofix requires also fixation with the seat belt. Have a look through the official manual and web page of Maxi Cosi and pay close attention to the text. I think the small pictures on the base are confusing you more than helping you. According to Maxi Cosi using the isofix system and the belt together is likely to have bad impact on the car seat dampening if incident is to happen while driving.

@@MeFixingEverything place the cork on top of the button and press hard. I had one that was totally stuck and the cork gave so much more leverage.

I will disagree. Seat belt is for cars without a isofix system. What is the point of having isofix if using seatbelt ?
