- Me and David headed off to do some mountain wild camping on Ben Lui and Beinn a'Chlèibh. It was damp, rainy, and windy and an exceptionally long day. We finally set up camp before Beinn a'Chlèibh, but the climb instantly put us to sleep. In this video I do a brief review on the 3F UL Taiji and Light Tour 5.8 sleeping pad.

Two Men and One Mountain | A Windy and Damp Wild Camp!
I really undermined Ben Lui, it's a big mountain and the initial climb is exceptionally boggy and thankfully Beinn a'Chlèibh was a much easier ride. The 3F UL Taiji is fast becoming a personal favourite and the Light Tour sleeping mat is unbelievably comfortable. It was an interesting wild camping experience as I hit the hay not long after I pitched up. But the morning was no different to the previous day, given off a cold, horror effect with the mountains saying "Am no to be messed with". A fun wild camp with a bit of rain and wind and I made a great friend on the way :)

Just watched outdoor gear review who has just released his rain test video for the Taiji II, his one leaked badly. had any issues on this trip?
My next video I had it out in heavy rain and it was fine. Loads others as well.
His review videos are questionable and harsh. He bastardises entire companies based on his individual experiences rather than collective. And with a large following, can cause unnecessary damage.

Mate, it's so comfortable. I've used it 3 times and each time was a great, warm sleep.
@@MontyOutdoors Any cold spots on the mat? Some similar mats with that dimple design seem to have some cold spots (Sea to Summit for example).
