- Today we talk about and put to the test the 10.4 x 32 Salba Witchdoctor on our Old School concave. This board came out last year so you will likely not be able to find it out in the wild right now but if you have a shop and you’ve got this board let your followers know! The Old School concave has very aggressive bends in the concave and an extra kick in the tail that locks your foot in nicely. The concave feels different than a modern concave but if you are looking to try something different this is a great concave. Then we put Santa Cruz Brand Manager Andrew Cannon to the test with three different challenges. Let us know in the comments below what challenges we should throw in the bins next!

It felt like they stoped putting up videos. Maybe there was some Henry Gartland videos coming but they didn't release due to timing. I wonder how much unreleased footage Henry had. And if it's going to effect the video there making. Every one has don't well in this fucked up few years. It's Just a shame.
Tbh when I heard Henry Gartland died. I honestly was thinking he fell off a handrail. Never would have believed he would take he's life.

Yooo I was hoping to see this happen, I have one of these as my ride to uni, and its my first skateboard. Awesome deck, super fun to ride and looks great.
It's such a trip seeing you at QC skatepark, that was where I skated in high-school. Now I'm in Utah but I miss it so bad!! Come out to Brigham City Utah haha...🤙😅
I really wish Santa Cruz would give the specific info like this to Zumiez and other retailers. When we see it on a site all we got was the overall width and length. Also great thing about this video is it is good to know you can put Indy 159s on this size of a deck. If a novice just went by the overall specs they may have gotten Indy 169s with this if they were buying on line.
Santa Cruz decks are really heavy, especially with indy trucks. The tails are short, too tapered at the sides and flared ... As a a large adult rider, I need more concave, a wider board and longer tail - something like the New Deal Templeton maybe?

Evil idea: Every failed 10min trick challenge gets another duplicate slip added. Fail and you have 2 slips with 'KF FS disaster' next time in the box. Fail again and next time you have 3. If there are 3 or more in the box and you finally make it, you get to take them ALL out of the box.

I'm from the 70s, an ORIGINAL skater, skated for Santa Cruz and began my skating journey on a Wood Board "Black Knight" with clay wheels before my Cruz, Mid Tracks and Yo-Yo's, Question: How can skateboard factories re-issue board's which is s good idea incorporate a front tail? I am not liking street skating, I'm a bowl rider, 10x30, Ex-Tracks & Sims Snakes, with a flat board till you get to the tail, why are you reissuing with front tails? Shouldn't a reissue be a flat board like it's predecessors?

maybe it's easier to flip the fs flip disaster if it is flips a bit more like Muska
And I went to find one of these.... And they are only on ebay for $200
The problem is, these are released in such small numbers that people snap them up and then flip them on ebay for $200. This does nothing for the skate community in general. It just creates "collectibles" and only a few sellers benefit. It'd be good if Santa Cruz did something about it. Decks are meant to be skated, not traded.

This skateboard is beautiful but it is unfortunately out of stock almost everywhere and only available for two and three times the price on Ebay.
If the demand grows on here and elsewhere I'm sure it will be re-released soon along with the others. Don't despair!

Hey David, We offer reissues with every drop of boards we do. Boards are just getting swooped up left and right at the moment. The answer is yes, we will absolutely have more 80's boards for you!

The local skate shop here in jackson michigan didnt have the natas blind bag,i grew up a poor kid so i never got to skate a natas,should have stole one,o well,but man thanks for the reply!!!!! Big time!!!! Please try n make these boards an option an not just a limited run,the guy at my skate shop is 70 years old and he agrees,he still skates!!! And water boards!! He is skating an old 80's vision rite now,man im so happy you cared to reply! Thank you again!!! Cheers!!!
