I remember back in the day when all you saw were families baling straw and hay without the kickbaler. We used to ride the top of the wagon all the way to the barn lol. Now we just wait at the barn to unload.
Yeah, that kicker packs quite a kick doesn't it? lol. You pretty much need an extension on the wagon tongue... Loved the bale-cam pov stuff. Great video- thanks!
Brings back memories of my cousins telling me " Sure, we do it all the time! We take bets and see who can ride in the wagon and dodge the most bales while climbing to the top as it loads." "You go first."
Dfarm, nice video, nice looking farm from what I've seen also. Whats the little JD your pulling wagons with? Kind of looks and sounds like our 950 JD ( the green yanmar)
Thanks! No, I just have a regular Nextel phone. It calls it mobile when I first upload it for some reason. I don't worry about my camera breaking, I made a small frame that completely encloses it from all sides. I basically slide it under the strings and let it fly!
@judderjones We had a terrible time with the kicker on the baler last year! One bale would be perfect and the next one will bi over the wagon. Since it is new we are having the valve replaced under warranty.
Methinks that hay had been on the ground for quite some time before it was baled , ( dark coloured hay, the regrowth looked very green ) Had you had some rain?
camera on the bale was a great idea. Very original. Did you just stick the camera on there and hope for the best? Or did you have some kind of protection for it?
how about putting the camera in the field before cutting the grass so we can see the whole process from the grass point of view, cutting turning and going throught the bailer.
@HisWayFarm I am fully aware of that, this hay was rained on. There is nothing you can do about that. We strive to grow the highest quality for the horse market and are well aware of what high quality hay is. Our hay is such high quality that it sells immediately and we really can't grow enough of it. The stuff like this is fine for our dry and breeding dairy animals but milkers are fed high quality hay.
It's not set up neat but it makes more since then loading it and dropping on the ground and from the looks of it you don't have to touch nothing I give them props for this
LOL , its fun trying to stack and not get hit by the next bale and I have had that happen before so that is why I just kick on what will fit 125 to 150 per wagon
The bummer about using a baler with a kicker is that is really jostles the bales. They don't stay tight. On top of that, you gotta get someobody to unload that thing. Essentially you are having to handle to product twice to store it. Whereas with a bale wagon..one guy...one air conditoned vehicle..loading about 120 50lb bales into the wagon automatically and then unlaoding the entire load in one tilting manuever. About one minute. Perfect stack. Tight. Just need the proper storage building.
Typical horse person to picky nothing wrong with it tbh but having said that rye grass which is very dry and course is the best hay you can get, very nutritional
I would love to see 2 guys in the wagon stacking that would be a scream! You just know you can find a couple of teenagers eager to try it. Fuck yah man my turn my turn.
you can't beat a 348 baler...new holland guys w/ 575's drool at what 348's can do... we have 4 and they each do about 30,000/year (so everyone make sure you don't buy ours after trade in haha) i like big bales though...less work! (but less $)
Seems like your a bit rough on equipment, keep your R.P.M.s up but slow your ground speed down. The baler is "flogging" because of the drag of the wagon, even it out.
+DesertDigger1 Agree. Easy to know when you're going too fast is when you get that back bucking form the baler. Good way to break needles or throw out of time
That hay looks very dry. Nothing Nutritional about them. If your feeding cows I guess its alright. But for horses, yuck! Horses like the Green stuff, they have a tough time Digesting the dry brown stuff.
wqatching..,watching baller flings into the sky "high pitched scream like a school girl" then thinks to self will it happen again then (fling) LOLOLOLOLOO yyyyyeeeaa!!!
It's not set up neat but it makes more since then loading it and dropping on the ground and from the looks of it you don't have to touch nothing I give them props for this
Cool video. Bale cam is great! Can't wait for hay season!
hey nice video. The exlcusive camera angles makes it even better. I wouldnt mind seeing the the frame you made to stop it from breaking
your best video yet! in fact its the best hay making video on youtube!
I remember back in the day when all you saw were families baling straw and hay without the kickbaler. We used to ride the top of the wagon all the way to the barn lol. Now we just wait at the barn to unload.
LOL! Bale cam in ballistic flight! Sure beats 'riding the wagon' and stacking the bales one at a time...
Great Video the bale cam is really neat! That tractor pulling the wagon has a load!
i especially like the lawn tractor pulling the wagons
Lol loved your balecam! I’ll bet I’ve handled a million of these as a kid
Yeah, that kicker packs quite a kick doesn't it? lol. You pretty much need an extension on the wagon tongue...
Loved the bale-cam pov stuff. Great video- thanks!
Love the camera on the bale. Awesome job :)
great video when the bale flew
we worked so 20 years ago
now we make round bales
This is really a great video! The flying cam does the trick!
Like your Film and also to see that you still work with the older john deere's. Very nice
I agree with what that other guy said, the "bale cam" is the best.
It looks like a movie or John Deere commerical! Very cool!
I haft to agree this is the best hay making video on youtube. I just feel sorry for that cam. It must have really pissed you off. HaHa. Have fun.
Great job, keep it going. Some places I know don't have enough hay and are having it shipped in.
that was sweet. nice baler too.
Great job on the vid guys. Loved hay bale pov
Totally kool video and nice equipment too!
Wow, I love your "on bale" views!
Brings back memories of my cousins telling me " Sure, we do it all the time! We take bets and see who can ride in the wagon and dodge the most bales while climbing to the top as it loads."
"You go first."
hmm, that was very wel recorded and edited. I liked to see the camera moving with a bale of hay.
love the bale cam
Awesome shots!!!! Thanks!!!
Nice you see a man don't need huge equipment to get the job done
Dfarm, nice video, nice looking farm from what I've seen also. Whats the little JD your pulling wagons with? Kind of looks and sounds like our 950 JD ( the green yanmar)

Great video! Nothing runs like a Deere. That is cool how you put the bale cam on. What kind of camera is that?
I don't mind the work involved with haying, but I always hated watching the weather and hoping that it wouldn't rain until we were finished.
@judderjones We had a terrible time with the kicker on the baler last year! One bale would be perfect and the next one will bi over the wagon. Since it is new we are having the valve replaced under warranty.
Haha. LOVED the balecam.
Les quedaron mui bien Los videos gracias
Nice video!
Never seen a bail springing like that! :o :p nice machine!!!
Methinks that hay had been on the ground for quite some time before it was baled , ( dark coloured hay, the regrowth looked very green ) Had you had some rain?
Very well done love your work
love the 'bale cam'.

Another question. I found the answer to my first. What was the tractor that was in your film taking the hay wagon off?? It didn't look all that big.
It's not set up neat but it makes more since then loading it and dropping on the ground and from the looks of it you don't have to touch nothing I give them props for this
This is from your phone? It looks Great! That bale went a little too far... Lol. Ever worry about your camera breaking? Loved the video Man.
Thanks, I use a Cannon powershot A2000IS.
nice!!!
in Poland???
oh my god, a bale-cam. that is hilarious, hope it didn't break
Nice video and how many acres was that and could you make a living off of just hay farm
Nice job.....nice outfit too
LOL , its fun trying to stack and not get hit by the next bale and I have had that happen before so that is why I just kick on what will fit 125 to 150 per wagon
Great video! What variety of rye grass are you growing with the alfalfa?
very very good job man...
awesome video!
The 4020 is powershift so that is why is runs the baler. I would like to replace it with a 6420.
It's a 770 but you are right about the yanmar part!
Do you put up round bales also?
Thanks! Now I have to figure out how to top this one lol!
so down your baler my cousin squarebale with an A-C 7000 and new Holland 315 and he does not miss that many bales

Do u have any tips for someone who is going to be a farmer?
nice vid!
Steven Spielberg, take care of you!
hello we have the same baler as you and our flyweel is loose and its making and anoying sound do you have an idea how to thight it up a bit ?
in belgium we dont have that kind of system (machine) that shoot bales into the wagon :(
Does the thrower work off the tractor hydraulics?
Very cool!
might wanna turn your kicker down just a notch...looks like you had a couple bales go over the back of the wagon
awesome video! now i know how it feels to be a bale lol
nice video.
bale cam..... :-) good vid
Can't wait to start bailing again
I can't remember, I'll look it up.
How come you don't just park the trailers full of hay in the barn?
nice video 5.
I'll post some pics on our website.
nice camera
superrrrrrr , pekna prace, :-)))))
About 120-140 if you are good at loading it.
LOL !! great shots, laughing off my chair,
that is fun
lololo...i liked the ride.
That stinks , you guys are missing out !!!! unless you are the poor guy in the wagon stacking them LOL
The thrower adds too much weight aft of the axle. It needs a sprung dolly wheel or wheels under it. That M&W rake looks the same as my Befco.
Typical horse person to picky nothing wrong with it tbh but having said that rye grass which is very dry and course is the best hay you can get, very nutritional

to bad I dont have that many landscape...
Damn that fucker launches em!
could you launch a man with this ?
would be funny in a jackass movie or so XD

adoro. tractor
!!!
Humm, I don't like that kicking mechanism. :<
Makes too random loads which effects to used capacity.
hey im going to put up a vid of bailing 09 so check it out!
*pokerface*
Scania
