Met the Sarge at a toy show recently, whatta great guy! I was the only person who brought a VHS copy of Blood Sweat and Gears to have him sign, he laughed when he saw it and told me what a great time he had filming it
The great thing about the Sarge is GI Joe could have just been a job for him in the 80s, but he loves the brand and he embraced the fans and just how important he is to us and all generations of fans. God bless you Sarge.
Actually got say hi to Sarge last year at Galaxycon in Columbus as he happened to walk past me while I was waiting in line for Peter Cullen's autograph. Such a cool dude, YO JOE!
IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST SPECIAL BE PART OF THIS TEAM YOU SHOULD KNOW HE TRAINED THEM COURAGE STRENGTH SACRIFICE THAT'S WHAT BEING A TRUE HEROES ALL ABOUT. AND WATCH THE GREATEST HEROES WHERE A FAR FOR TRUE FREEDOM GI JOE 👍🇺🇲
Dunno about anyone else, but seeing the Sarge in this interview gave me goosebumps and all kinds of nostalgia ❤ always loved this guy, down to earth and iconic legend!
Love this guy. I will never forget watching WWF and GI Joe as s little guy in the 80's. We would fight over who got to be Sergeant Slaughter. Great to see you Sarge.
Great job on the line. I enjoy it. I’m from Chicago. Could you do a William Perry classified figure. It was a mail away when I was a kid. I never mailed mine in on time. Doh. I don’t know what Mr Perry’s health is like these days. It would be nice to see him. Like the Sarge.
Dear Hasbro let me tell you that Jordan Hembrough did an exceptional job covering San Diego Comic-Con! His coverage was informative, engaging, and captured the excitement of the event perfectly. Great work!
WOW. He paid attention to his lines and the scenes too, as if it were live action. And recites them perfectly, nearly 40 years later. yoooOOOO-SARGE!!!
He’s not wrong. A little bit of Metal Gear Solid and a lot of GI Joe influence gave me the drive to join the military. Slaughter is American treasure and looks fantastic. Yo Joe!
I knew that JOE was in capable hands when they brought the Sarge back into the fold. Never thought I'd live to see the brand rise from the ashes of failure and neoliberalism to see a second golden age.
THE SARGE! Sgt. Slaughter is the only GI Joe Classified figure I have 😄 And y'know, I haven't been buying the GI Joe/Transformer crossover figures, just out of sheer willful restraint, but any guesses who my favourite Transformer is? Damn!
Since Sgt. Slaughter's Triple T Tank now transforms into Sgt. Kup, I wouldn't be surprised if he voiced both characters, Slaughter would train the Joes, And Kup would train the Autobots, YO JOE, AND ROLL OUT YOU MAGGOTS!!
Even though I'm a Decepticon, I heard about Sgt. Slaughter for years, my favourite G.I. Joe fleshbag( Slaughter...great name!)...total respect for the man...not for that rusty bucket called Kup though (what in Primus name even is a "KUP")
I wonder why Sergeant Slaughter is into the Action Force crossover toys. If Slaughter's plan is to sell his character into the next Transformers crossover movie for money, I hope it works! Yo-Joe!
Vince McMahon was such a jerk making Sgt. Slaughter play the bad guy siding with Iraq during the desert storm war. That was really poor taste and it had no business being part of wrestling.
I always loved seeing Sargent Slaughter make his way into the wrestling ring back in the early 1980's, you knew it was going to be an action packed event! 🤼♂️
Really touching to hear about Sarge's experience with fans over the years!
He hasn't aged. Legend. Yo Joe!
I'm soo glad Sgt. Slaughter is doing well.

Very inspiring. Yo Joe, Sgt. Slaughter!
I love that Sarge knows the movie so well, and can still say the lines. That's awesome.
Sarge, very inspirational what you are talking about here, god bless you
Great interview! I can listen to Sarge’s stories all day!

One of my favorite GIJOE when I was growing up
IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST SPECIAL BE PART OF THIS TEAM
YOU SHOULD KNOW HE TRAINED THEM COURAGE STRENGTH SACRIFICE THAT'S WHAT BEING A TRUE HEROES ALL ABOUT.

TRUE FREEDOM GI JOE 👍🇺🇲
You are a big part of the G.I.Joe heart Sergeant Slaughter and thank you for being a great ambassador for Hasbro for all these years! :) Yo Joe!
A living icon.. A wonderful human being. Period.
He was a mean guy during his WWF career, very mean guy
@@jogmas12 well I guess no is perfect my friend. As long as ppl change for the better later on that's what matters.
Dunno about anyone else, but seeing the Sarge in this interview gave me goosebumps and all kinds of nostalgia ❤ always loved this guy, down to earth and iconic legend!

Amazing. Much love for both Sarge and Jordan Hembrough!
Sgt is just the greatest guy. Always glad to see him. I’ll buy any and every Sgt figure 🎉
Ol Sarge still looks the same. Good on him.
I always enjoy his interviews. I hope someday soon I will be fortunate enough to meet him.
Thank you both for this interview 🤩
Love this guy. I will never forget watching WWF and GI Joe as s little guy in the 80's. We would fight over who got to be Sergeant Slaughter. Great to see you Sarge.
My husband loves Sergeant Slaughter from his childhood and modeled his training style of his men during his service on him!
HE IS THE MAN!!!! THANK YOU 4 SHOWING HIM!!!!❤😂🙏❤️😂✌️🫶🦹♀️🦹🦸♂️🦸🦸♀️🦹♂️

Sargento Slaughter é uma lenda e uma pessoa muito querida! 🥰 yooo Joeeeeeee
I knew that JOE was in capable hands when they brought the Sarge back into the fold.

"AT EASE DISEASE!!!"

Yo Joe baby!!
He looks exactly the same btw

🦈 🦈 🦈 🦈 🦈
The guy interviewing Sergeant Slaughter was horrible. He seemed to have no idea what he was talking about.
Even though I'm a Decepticon, I heard about Sgt. Slaughter for years, my favourite G.I. Joe fleshbag( Slaughter...great name!)...total respect for the man...not for that rusty bucket called Kup though (what in Primus name even is a "KUP")
Sgt. Slaughter:"Screw The Rock!"
and itty, bitty, ditty bag
is that @KylePeterson1980 at the 5 second mark videoing the Turtles?
The man!
The chin!
Get the man a pair of 5:11s and boots
Does Sgt. Slaughter own the rights to his own character now or did they have to go through the WWE to get permission for this?
Yo Joe!
Transformers meet Gi Joe 2026 hasbroverse
I wonder why Sergeant Slaughter is into the Action Force crossover toys. If Slaughter's plan is to sell his character into the next Transformers crossover movie for money, I hope it works! Yo-Joe!
Yo Joe and transform and roll out
Sarge is awesome but Jordan needs to freshen up on his familiarity with GI Joe.
This guy is still stealing valor I see.
Sgt. Slaughter: “give me some push ups, Scum”
Vince McMahon was such a jerk making Sgt. Slaughter play the bad guy siding with Iraq during the desert storm war. That was really poor taste and it had no business being part of wrestling.

Sarge is the best! Even my 10 year old daughter likes him.🫡 And good job to the host, much better and more respectful interviewer than Emily.
Sgt. Slaughter: Lookout, Megatron.
Megatron (in Frank Welker's G1 voice): I'll be waiting.
