Hello, i appreciate your uploads. Just got my BS in HIM and looking for work. Pretty tough with no experience or certs. Any more tips on finding entry level work in this field would be amazing. God bless lady.
Thank you for this. I just enrolled in a graduate program in the field, so I wanted to hear the perspective from a professional. You earned a sub from me.
Hello, thank you for this video. I do have a bachelor's degree in public health, and I am interested in getting a master's degree in health informatics, but I do not have any experience in IT at all. What would you suggest is the route for someone like me with no background IT?
Hi Rhia, thanks for the video. I have a BSc in Human Resource Management from London, UK and recently graduated (May 2023), however, I have been working as a Medical Administrator for over a year now, and I am considering doing an MS in Health Informatics in the US. The universities I looked into mention if a student doesn't have any background in IT, prerequisites may be required. So I am not sure what exactly are those prerequisites. Could you please make a video about this?
Thank you for this content!!! 🙏You are doing abundant work. As a County Epidemiologist (B.S. Public Health) I am seeking to pivot and transition into Health Informatics (Health Care IT Field). Tuning into to take action to get me there.
Hello! I am 2023 graduate with an RHIA and a bachelors in HIM! Your videos have helped me a bunch!!!! Do you think it’s necessary to obtain RHIT. To get into the informatics space?
I am currently working as a software developer in a major hospital, where I build and manage software systems. Since I am a self-taught engineer, I am not sure which certifications to pursue. I have even thought about taking the LPN certification to gain experience. Can you please provide guidance on the certifications I should consider and the path I should take?

Hey Samuel! If you have the RHIA then you are good to go. The RHIT is not necessary for you.
