Episode 1: Obi-wan left a model of a Skyhopper for young Luke. Mark Hamill was playing with that model minutes before he saw Leia’s hologram message for Obi-wan. Outside the garage you can see the back end of the actual Skyhopper. Episode 2: That girl who was someone’s daughter was played by Ewan’s actual daughter. Episode 3: I think Zach Braff was Freck, the star-mole driver. Episode 4: the tomb for dead Jedi. Episode 6: the appearance of 7 major actors from the prequels!
1:27> Could it have been Qui-Gonn putting the thoughts of Luke and Leia in Obi-Wan's mind when he needed to bust out of that pit? Hmmmmm. Love how Sidious told Vader at the end to leave him alone. Translation: " Boy, he done already almost killed you twice now and next time he probably will. I need you here, not chasing around the galaxy looking for revenge.. Now stop it and take care of the biz we got going!"
I really enjoyed this series, and I've enjoyed all of the others. I'm just glad to still have Star Wars in my life. The way things are going we won't have it for much longer.
Remember, Anakin thinks that his child(ren) died at birth with it's (their) mother. He has no idea that he has any living children, so using them as any sort of foil wouldn't make any sense.
well, the Skywalker name isn't a common name, and she was going to kidnap Luke from the Lars home, which Vader is familiar with so that makes a lot of sense, Leia not so much.
It’s strange when you think about it- when Alec Guinness said “Hello there” in 1977, he didn’t know he was saying what would become Obi-Wan’s catchphrase. I’m not entirely sure when the catchphrase was “assigned”, but I did once see a meme which was photo of Obi- Wan (as he appeared in Episode III) with “Hello There” at the bottom. That probably had something to do with it.
54:24-54:50 - Not just any people, every single person in those tanks were Jedi that weren't killed by the clones when Order 66 happened but instead captured by the Empire and later the Inquisitors. They were tortured for information on the whereabouts of any other Jedi that escaped Order 66 before killing them if they refused to join the Inquisitors, however their bodies weren't just kept as trophies as they were also used as bait to draw any surviving Jedi out of hiding as even in death they could still be felt in the Force.
01:25:25: Throughout the series, Leia calls him “Ben”, up until the end. And when we see her ten years later, she says “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.” And the last time he sees both Luke and Leia together is when they are on the Death Star, where he sacrifices himself so they can escape.
My issues with this show: I realize it's for the fans, but Obi-Wan, in his current situation would absolutely not let his lightsaber be seen. One glimpse can lead to a firefight with the local Stormtrooper Garrison, with civilians around. Vader KNOWS Kenobi is still out there, but seems surprised when he feels Obi-Wan aboard the Death Star. When he captured Kenobi and was dragging him through the fire, what stopped him from crushing the Loader and keeping Kenobi? He hasn't exactly done much so far to wear him out. But then we see him literally pull a transport ship at full burn back down into the hanger and tear it apart like tinfoil. When the first ship takes off, there is no other ship behind it, especially not as close as we saw through the first ship. Luke and Leia were born 19 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin, when the Death Star was blown up), and they're 10 here. That means it's been only 9 years since Luke last saw him. Would it really be a case of "I wonder if he means Old Ben Kenobi" in only 9 years? But moreso, Owen says "He died, about the same time as your father." I mean, yeah, kinda cool, especially the big fight between Vader and Kenobi, but it really kinda causes problems with the original trilogy's canon. Which is one of the big problems with making shows about the big characters of the Saga. You need to be careful with the existing canon. Which, honestly, is a big part of why I liked Andor so much. It's a show about an unknown, a tiny player in the galactic chess game before he became a hero in Rogue One. And not a single Space Wizard in sight.
As much as I would like a second series, I'm happy the first season ended like this. This was the perfect bridging series between Episode 3 & 4. i liked the twist that the majority of Obi-Wan's time was protecting Leia, rather than Luke. As Luke only had vague memories of Ben at the start of Episode 4, it implies they didn't spend much time together. If a second season did happen Obi Wan would probably protect Luke out of sight. I also think his relationship with Owen would sour if Luke faces potential threat again. I would love a decent conversation between Obi Wan and Qui Gon in one episode of season 2.
Vader doesn’t know he has children at this point. He didn’t find out about Luke until the Emperor told him in The Empire Strikes Back, and Leia was revealed as he fought Luke in Return Of The Jedi, and even then he didn’t know it was Leia.
The Best thing about Temuera Morrison playing the Vetran Clone Trooper is that was the Very First Practical Clone Trooper. Up until now they've been all CGI The worst part of this Show was they retconed Qui-Gon Jinn. Yoda told Obi-Wan about training to connect with Qui-Gon. In Yoda's connecting with him, it was only by voice. As Qui-Gon never learnt to take physical form.
I only stuck to the movies. But this was the only (for lack of a better word) offshoot videos that I watched. The other ones simply didn't matter to me. The thing I liked about Obi-Wan Kenobi was that it was telling the story of his days in exile before meeting Luke.
I remember watching this before. I never understood why obi wan konobi didn't finish off Vader in this last fight this time. I realize palptine & the empire would still be around, but that would have dealt them a deadly blow !!!!
This show was so close to being awesome. My opinion, something about the pacing took it down a notch. I wish Obi would have got his mojo back by episode two or three. A slow burn build up works on some shows but for some reason, I don’t think it really worked for this show. That being said, I did enjoy it overall. And I think it is good to acknowledge that nothing will ever live up to the movies you first watched. For example, I really hated a lot of stuff from the prequels but overtime I’ve grown to genuinely enjoy them. Granted, I really could go without that droid factory scene in episode 2. It’s painful to watch. 🤦♂️😜
3rd sister is NO JEDI!!! She let her desire for revenge guide her to this point she is Sith. It was her quest for revenge that drove her. that is path to the Dark side. She walked that path all the way to here.
A bit of a cursed production sadly. Covid really screwed up production and ate away at the budget (which had to be particularly galling to show runner Deborah Chow who prides herself on coming in under budget). A few too many cooks in the kitchen as well. That having been said, when Chow got the chance to shot the big set piece action sequence she teed off on it.
While I believe that Anakin and Padmes relationship began as love, his ego and possessiveness corrupted that, and transformed it into obsession. So he turned to the darkside not out of love, but out of fear of feeling the pain of her loss. Its still very sad, but it shows how his focus isnt on her but on himself.
1:06:55 1:06:55 The series didn't do very well initially, mostly due to Moses's poor acting and terrible writing. As an Inquisitor she was just bad. Later the series improved, but it was too late. After seeing the Stormtroopers attack the hangar...do you still think they're poor shots?
1:20:22 this concept this ideal of seeing anikin face was ripped from a episode of star wars rebels. Stealing from a cartoon smh Dave Filoni be pissed.
So what side are you on? You said you hate “Disney woke Star Wars” but Dave is a big supporter of it.. (which is good because Star Wars was always intended to be “woke” meaning aware of the world)
Another fubar reaction The star wars!! Each episode of the star wars series on Disney or hour long8 episodes 8 hours Just like with movies Hour should Hour should deserve 145-50 minute Hour should deserve 145-50 minute Hour should deserve 145-50 minute reaction! If you're gonna disrespect star wars Disney and the actors in the star wars series and movies Why why do any reactions? This whole series was LAZY writing , it MAKES NO sense in the timeline Previously TOLD in movies . They just WROTE whatever they wanted to.. AND somehow Killing someone DOESNT kill them they just COME BACK to life magically , but if you liked it thats fine , even if its ALL MESSED up, like most Disney star wars they just REWRITE history to fit what they want

That was so much fun rewatching this with you. Thanks. There's a lot wrong with the show, but I really enjoyed it. Nice to see you enjoy it.
I gotta agree with you. Seeing Vader THIS vulnerable was really unnerving.
The end of Ep. 6 was just a rollercoaster of emotions.
1:27> Could it have been Qui-Gonn putting the thoughts of Luke and Leia in Obi-Wan's mind when he needed to bust out of that pit? Hmmmmm. Love how Sidious told Vader at the end to leave him alone. The pink haired girl at the beginning of episode 2 was Ewan McGregor's daughter.
Vader is not the ultimate bad guy, the emperor/Darth Sidious is.
they are all inquisitors and he is the Grand Inquisitor. Inquisitors are like CIA but with force powers.
This was such a good watch...all over again!!! Thank you so much for sharing it with everyone!!!!

Amanda Kazzy Cryer, cool video you deserve more views
Not gonna lie, That mario bros sound when Leia ran off the building had my sides hurting 😂
As well as the beginning of a level in Sonic the Hedgehog when she runs away from Obi-Wan. 😆
Obi Wan and Qui Gon head back into Beggars Canyon where it all began and Qui Gon met Podracer Anakin Skywalker

Luke and Princess Leia are both 10 years old at the beginning it says 10 years later
Some friends got of mine got to be *stormtroopers* in this, just like in The Mandalorian.
Yeah I have this season on DVD and Mandalorian
HAYYYYDDDEEENNN❤

Kazzy, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Andor. If you loved this, Boba Fett, and Mando, yer probably gonna LOVE Andor.
My issues with this show: I realize it's for the fans, but Obi-Wan, in his current situation would absolutely not let his lightsaber be seen. One glimpse can lead to a firefight with the local Stormtrooper Garrison, with civilians around.

so since these are re-posts, does anyone know if she'll be doing Andor next?
I appreciate you and thank you for making content.

Oh Kazzy, thanks for allowing me to spend this time here with you.
The Force is definitely with you, always. ;)
Oh, and the three words that can still make me cry...
"Execute Order Sixty-Six!" 😢😢
Also, she is someone daughter...Ewen's daughter. :)
to me even the "idea" that a Lord Vader has to accumilate WHAT EVER these FUCKING SIDE CHARACKTERS ARE .
Vader never needed them. HE'S FUCKING VADER
Vader doesn’t know he has children at this point. He didn’t find out about Luke until the Emperor told him in The Empire Strikes Back, and Leia was revealed as he fought Luke in Return Of The Jedi, and even then he didn’t know it was Leia.
If you liked the Third Sister, I'd recommend The Queen's Gambit.
It does not have anything to do with Star Wars though.
The Best thing about Temuera Morrison playing the Vetran Clone Trooper is that was the Very First Practical Clone Trooper. Up until now they've been all CGI

Hi Kazzy , I enjoyed your reaction to obi wan !!! :)
Can't wait to see you react to Ahsoka next !!!

To see more about the Grand inquisitor you must watch Star Wars Rebels it’s a huge part of the saga before watching the Ashoka series
Flea, the Bounty Hunter! (Bass for the RHCP's, and Actor -fun to see him in Star Wars) 😎
I only mention Flea, because after episode 1 -there are surprises, and great talent in this cast.
Reva does not know, the twins are Anakin's.
The real irony was that anikan CAUSED her death while trying to stop it
Just wondering are you going to at least start watching the clone wars? After this? The series. Cause theres bad batch and rebels. Just wanted to know
Hope you’ve been feeling better
I never knew that was Zach Braff! 😱
21:29 ewan mcgregor real life daughter
RIP James Earl Jones.
Vader is a tragedy, so yes I can feel compassion for the character, and still find what he's done after abhorrent.
He has no idea and definitely was cool with her being executed
3rd sister is NO JEDI!!! She let her desire for revenge guide her to this point she is Sith. It was her quest for revenge that drove her. that is path to the Dark side. She walked that path all the way to here.
I liked the series. It kind of lost its way in the middle but redeames itslef bin at the end
i hope you do an occasional movie too. 🙂

George Lucas had Maul come back to life after being cut in half because his hatred kept him alive.

27:58 nonsensical Reva jumping across roof tops because "they" want to make her look cool
This is just a nothing comment.
@@EM-fl5odbut i mean... seriously though... who jumps like that?
57:56 yes under the coat...not the least bit suspicious, lazy writing here.
“Lazy writing” is actually called “fun” and we know you hate it.
This whole series was LAZY writing , it MAKES NO sense in the timeline Previously TOLD in movies . They just WROTE whatever they wanted to.. "Help me Obi Wan, your my only hope."
Though the show does have some flaws, Episode 4 didn't establish how Leia knew Obi Wan.
Oh boy a Star Wars shill AND an over-reactor? Count me out.
You don’t have to yuck someone else’s yum. It’s not a perfect show but I enjoyed it for the most part.
