    Thanks Brendon and Milo.. Got my first Eagle on a par 4 this week from nearly 150yrds👍 the shaft lean at impact through correcting my hip slide as milo is describing has helped my ball striking and club path through impact so much.. Thanks again and keep up the great work👍

    So I'm commenting partly to say thanks (thanks!!) and partly to have a record of stuff I MUST NOT FORGET. Sooo good.
    If you move forward from a correct left-arm parallell into impact - and actually propel the ball forward towards the pin in a way that *doesn't alter the body-arms-setup from left-arm parallel at all* - you will HAVE TO move hips, body, shoulders correctly.
    Your choice of beverage is on me next time you come to Sweden :)

    Great info on the downswing to stop the flip, but one reason why I think I’m not opening much is because of my left hip moving towards the ball and causing early extension during the backswing. Would love more info on turning hips in backswing to have a better chance with downswing

    Tried this at the range yesterday. Shanked the first 5 shots . Realized I was letting my sternum drop Closer to the ball in my downswing. Once I concentrated on keeping my sternum the same length from the ball throughout the swing and keeping my hips inside my ankles I was hitting half swing pitching wedges farther than my normal full swing. Had a few issues when trying a full swing but am having problems with an inside takeaway at the moment. The few times I got it right it was pure. Gonna start every session from now on with this drill. I’ve never felt compression like that before

      You need to have decent pivot ability for this swing, if you struggle with it try the reverse approach of trying to start the downswing with your upper body which forces your lower body and hips to actually move first in anticipation. Try Monte Scheinblum ‘No turn cast’ drills.

  • @theSpaghettiKid18
    @theSpaghettiKid18 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm an 8 handicap and cast, early release. The only way I can get some consistency is to tighten my grip and drag the handle forward (this way I can at least get some shaft lean). Turning more and opening my hips more just leads to more push fades that go even farther offline.
    "Trying" to rotate my hips around more just gets me even more out of sync with the arms and hands way behind. I'll probably end up quitting golf because I can't fix my cast, early release.

    I have tried this move now for a couple months and the problem is that its extremely unathletic. Swinging with the arms (Tony Luczak - hello) is what feels athletic. This needs to be addressed by Milo and Brandon and what exactly the arms & hands are supposed to be doing, and WHEN. Just turning the hips gives me a 60 mph driver swing speed. Oh great. My armsy swing gives me 108. Hmmmmm..........

    Hi, I’m not saying milo is not a good golf coach his methods work for him, he never demos moving is weight forward at impact which how on earth can you get ball turf consistent. He goes against everything the stack and tilt methods put forward,. We are not athletes but every day golfers, stack and tilt works for most everyday golfers, and thats setting yourself up at address so it’s very difficult not to hit ball turf contact, ok they don’t hit the ball for miles but we are matures I can hit me pitch around 120 yards at 60 years of age. If I want to hit it further I take another club.
