- I got Boho braids and I love them. They are very easy to maintain if you take care of them properly. I did knotless and added human hair for a more effortless look. The size that I got was small and she neatly fed in various pieces of hair into each braid. I also chose to use a curly / wavy human hair to get a full and voluminous look.

Had mine done there a couple days ago because of your reel and 3 other ladies came in with your reel saying they wanted the same exact style. They need to run you a check or something. 😂.
I'm going to get mine tomorrow! 😂 How did your style come out?
@itsyavee how did it turn out? Where did you get your hair?
@@thexquisitelife it turned out great I got mine from Amazon b/c the one from Lugos didn't come in time. I ordered a wave type 12a curly hair and just cut it off the weft.
@@YAJ90 how much was the hair from Lugo? What type of hair did you get from Amazon
How many packs of braid hair do you need to purchase for this style?
Baby those are Tree Braids! 23 year cosmologist here! We did this in the 2000’s every once in a while we get somebody that asks for something like this… which is why I always keep my hair books! Y’all do social media and want the style “Exactly The Same” … We Never liked clones!😂 That’s why we had so many poppin styles! We flexed our skills by doing a “similar” style and freakin it!
This brought back so many memories for me… shops aren’t the same anymore! Social Media limits stylist so much and these kids actually think they invented the Same Styles I have trophies for from Hair Shows…. Baby But This! This Took me back in such a good way!
Tree braids are life!
Please 🙏🏾 take care of them ohhh & thank you for using human hair! We did the whole head with human but human hair is better for your hair and scalp with braids like this!
Thank you 🙏🏽 see I don’t feel like they are tree braids though. Where I’m from we called it micros. When I look up tree braids, it does not look like what I have and when I google mircos it looks like what’s in my head and what I used to ask for back in high school. The braid on tree braids seem shorter.
Exactly. These are individual tree braids. I used to get these all the time in the 90's/early 2000's. I only knew one hair braider in my area that could do them correctly.
Let em know!!!! ❤❤
Does this hair style work with long hair?
Yes these are absolutely tree braids
These braids are taking me back to the early 2000s. Love them! Definitely gonna try them on myself.
Lol ahah girl that was my inspo lol
what type of hair did yall use in the early 2000s
@@Chelsie383 I always used human hair.

I used to do my own hair like this when I was in middle school way before they call them boho .. this take back in 90’s
Holding and distributing the hair is exactly how we used to do it in the 90s and early 2000s…now braiders have to spend so much time prepping hair for boho and knotless braids. It definitely takes more time. It looks really good.

Lugo's is NOT cheap Sis.... That's where I use to go backkkkk n day when I lived in Brooklyn!.... FLAWLESS hair but be prepared to drop that bag 💰💰💰. Hair lasted for damn yrs!
@@queame8465 trust me I know lol your damn right lol I was like what the heck but it was less than hisandhers.
Hahah see you get it. It’s the lasting for years for me !!! Lol worth the investment right
@@SIMONESHARICE
DEFINITELY worth it if you can salvage the hair after taking down braids!...... Question: Did they actually use the store hair during install? Or your entire head is the human hair? I didn't see that process during video. PS Thanks a bunch for responding!!!.... You're an OG!😍Luv your vidz 🤗
@@queame8465 your welcome ❤️ the braid it self was from outre. I purchased it but they do provide hair as well. Next time I will braid the entire braid with human hair. It was my first time so I didn’t want to try anything that I wasn’t sure of yet.
I visited this salon off the strength of my cousin recommending it. Never again.
My google review. I booked a braiding appointment for June 21st for medium knotless braids, mid-back length. Appointment was confirmed via text message. I arrived to my appointment at 5pm. There was six stations that were all full with ladies getting their hair braided. I knew I would have to wait, which was fine. At 8:25, I was still waiting my turn. Josey comes to me and another customer that was also waiting. She says, “I’m tired, we won’t be able to do hair tonight. We were here until 1 am this morning. You can come back tomorrow.” I’m sorry, what?!?! I waited 3 hours and you want to tell me at 8:25 that you or anyone else can’t do my hair. She then says that the ladies that are currently in the chair have been there since this morning. I’m upset that my time was not valued, if she had of said something around 6pm, I could respect that. But to have a customer wait 3 hours, is insane. That’s extremely unprofessional!! If bohemian braids take a long time and you’re doing six heads, DON’T schedule more clients for that day!
What’s the name of the salon
GIRL! We are in the same dilemma with our hair. Braids is what I need too to put my hair up cause idk WHAT else to do. I’m at a blank lol. Cheers to growing and protecting our hair ❤
I had my hair like this for my wedding, but the lady that did it for me moved way and now I can't find anyone to do my hair like this again. I love your hair. Its so pretty.
I’m glad I found this video cuz I was looking for a cute, sleek vacay hairstyle for NY! This is it!! Its so pretty and I love your maintenance routine for after the hair shop! Love it! 💕
This is beautiful 😍. The reason these hair styles gets tangled is because most people don’t stop the braids short. With longer braids the human hair gets tangled around the braids and you can’t really comb it as you will be combing the braids with the hair 😅. The way this is done by keeping the braids short is the best way of doing it as it give you the ability to comb the human hair. Thanks for sharing ❤
Question though, being since the braiding hair is 20 inches, what is done with the ends of it?
@@zahabhoneyyasharahla6471 I usually cut it to the length I need, it makes it easier
@@sheashea8465 oh okay then stretch it ?
So obsessed. Can’t wait to get mine. . Absolutely beautiful. I love the versatility.
Wow, you immediately munipulated the heck out of those braids. My hair immediately frizzes up. Great style💙
Dayum these are CUTE!!! …. They look like the micro braids I use to do back in 2000s when they use to sell long wet and wavy braiding hair… it’s hard to find long wet & wavy braiding hair now days
I remember!!! Now the human braiding hair in the store is the tiniest display. I just ordered some from Lugos. Thanks to this queen
That is exactly what it is micro wet and wavy
Beautiful but WAAAAY too expensive. Lugo's hair is $250 a bundle. So 2 would be $500 plus the synthetic about $30. So hair is $530. Then you have the cost of your install which is a minimum $200 plus tip. So this look would set you back almost a $800 for hair that would need to be redone in 6 to 8 weeks! That's almost 6k a year!
These are not to expensive they are worth it if you can afford them. Just because they are out of your price range does not mean they are too expensive. Everyone has their own budget. You can always find a more affordable option for you.
You can reuse human hair, I just got my 2nd install with mine. Since the hair is loose you just have to be way more careful when washing it
@@Christine-wu9txdid you get it from the same place? How is it as far as getting tangled ? I’m looking for human hair that doesn’t shed as much.
@@kearah7462And I have a big head so it took about 5 packs for me
800 for 2 mints sounds about right to me. That's 400 a month. Idk how you find this too expensive
I went to the shop and got my hair done like this yesterday!! I got two bundles and we used every last silver of hair. I saw the lady there that braided your hair in the front. I had two different ladies though. I was getting worried bc we was using a lot of hair. The lady in the front was using 6-8 pieces of human hair and the lady in the back did 3-5. It came out SO pretty. I said mid back and these joints touch my butt. I’m okay with it. I’ve been feeling myself!! 💁🏾♀️
Do you have pics? I’m getting this done in a couple of weeks and I’m trying to figure out how many prices should be added all over the head
Please can you help with the phone number or IG of the shop? How can I book an appointment please ?
did you leave a lot of hair out at the end. I Am trying to get a style like this in Miami but I Want to know how they did the end part and what happened to the synthetic braid

I sure was procrastinating washing and braiding my hair today❣️Thanks for the motivation 😅
this is one of the most beautiful hairstyles ive seen…i want to get it myself
Got mine done at Josey’s and I am SO happy with it. Wish I could post a pic. I want to give as much info because I would appreciate it. Didn’t do the “boho” version I opted for xs box braids with human hair like I had back in the 2000’s. I showed them Beyoncé circa 2000’s and they are perfect! My hair is short shaved in the back. I let it grow out like an inch so they charged $350. I bought 3 bundles of hair from She’s Happy Hair and colored them ombré blonde. They cut them off the track at the shop I only needed 2 bundles and my hair is FULL. I like the bundles better because I know the hair is good and will keep the curl (I have a wig I made from She’s Happy Hair that is still so fresh after 2 years). Took 7 hours didn’t have 2 girls the whole time only half the time. I suggest booking an EARLY morning appointment, mine was 930a and they don’t do Friday or weekends. Hope this helps!
What length for the bundles? 20 inch?
They did their thing! You hair is gorgeous ❤❤❤
I want this. Perfect for summer!
I just saw this on the explore page on IG and was in love. I finally found my renaissance concert hairstyle 😭
So obsessed. Can’t wait to get mine. 😍
These came out beautiful. I would have never thought to wash braids, I always thought that made them frizzy.

This is the best knotless bohemian braids I ever seen by far I’m so in love I order me some 24 26 and 28 inch bundles and I will be doing my hair just like this I’m literally blown away right now💕🫶🏽💜
Where do you get human braiding hair ?

We did this back in the 90's....micro braids. Now I wanna get them for the summer ☀️ 😊
This is exactly what I want. Something to mimic a sew-in. I've also been in braids since last October, but haven't tried these. Will see if I can do them myself. Gorgeous!
Yes try it. I’m so so satisfied. I have an update for y’all. I just came from vacation and documented a lot.

Kinda similar to tree braids. ❤ this and the fact that washed it is awesome
Wow, the hair looks amazing. My hair would have frizzed up the second the water hit it. Great holiday style.

Super cute! I’m getting this style next!!!!
I love your braids so much!!!!! 😮
Just got my hair braided with them yesterday and I love it!! Washing my hair today. I got my hair from Pure Hair Factory in Doraville, GA which isn’t too far from Josey’s shop. I got 3 20 inch loose deep wave bundles in their premium collection. They increased the price to $300 for the braids but it’s worth it. I asked for smedium and they gave me your size braids. I like them though because they will last longer for me. I do suggest making an appointment Mon-Thurs or if you walk-in on the weekend get there first.
Do you remember who did your braids at joseys shop?
Do they just cut the hair off the track? I’m getting my hair from Pure Hair Factory
I go Thursday. Did they cut the hair off the weft?
How did the human hair do. Did it just matte up or are you good. My last set the human hair was a mess
I am ready for the hairstyle options video. I need to see the versatility of this style.
Love how your hair turned out and absolutely agree with treating it like a sew-in. I think where folks go wrong is having cheap human hair. Having played myself early on with a sew-in using cheaper curly hair, I learned the hard way you'll end up a knotted up mess! Never again. I'm going to try using a better human hair for my boho braids.
Absolutely gorgeous 😍
I need these braids in my life! Gorgeous ❤❤❤
This is super cute!
Love love loveee girl!
Love it! ❤
Best I’ve seen so far
Thank you for this! I am getting mine done next month for the first time. (Shoulder length) I am excited!
That is so gorgeous!
Wow this came out sooo good
Thank you so much, I love them !
I went to this shop today for this style. Sherry and Pasila (pretty sure I spelled that wrong) worked together to complete my hair. They were a perfect, synergized duo! They completed my hair in only 5 hours! Amazing!
All of the ladies in the shop were very warm and friendly!
The style is EXPENSIVE...So, this may be just a "one shot" treat for me. ❤
Thanks for the video!
did you leave a lot out at the end too?
@@sweetsadventure Yes... That's what I like about this style. The hair left out makes it look "softer" than braids & twists, IMO. I can't post a pic here, but I did add a pic on the shop's website under "reviews".
@@js1b876how much?🙂
@@jennaguzman7269 They quoted me $200. Then charged me $300 after the service was completed. Also, you have to bring your own human hair... About four packs. They provide the braiding hair.
@@js1b876 When did they add in the human hair? Was it once they went past your real hair? I want to attempt this style on myself but I need to know the logistics lol

This is pretty 😍 Real human hair is the key. Got it 👌🏽 Not pack human hair either. Pack hair will tangle as well trust me I tried it.

So pretty!! Is the synthetic hair mixed in with the human hair at the end or did they cut it once they braided past your reap hair?
This is so beautiful! I hope I can find someone in Maryland and in my city that can do this ❤️❤️❤️👍🏽

really amazing work !!!!!
I love the way she did your hair I went into this Jamaican place in Boston and ask for this hair style with human hair and they did braids to the end and then stick pieces of curly on it it was nice but totally different from the hair style I ask for also they charge me 400 and the hair wasn’t even human

this is so beautiful i really want to try this but my hair is so long idk if it'll have the same look
I'm in the Vinings area so I'm gonna have to head up to Lawrenceville real soon!!! 😍
I love this ! my next style
side note: what kind of car is that ? 😍
Are you able to re-use the human braiding hair when you take your braids out?
Thank you sis for posting
Question?? So ... Is the braiding hair stopping at the end of your natural hair, then she finished off the remaining hair with human hair?? And if so did she have to cut the braiding hair in half or shorter to get it to stop at the end of your real hair?
Gorgeous 😍😍
I have a question I'm getting ready to get this hairstyle can I use regular shampoo or does it has to be the shampoo for curly hair?
I'm having a similar problem with my bio hair right now.😮😢 You chose a beautiful hairstyle absolutely gorgeous.❤
my goodness these are everything! did they dip the braiding hair at the bottom mixed in with the human hair? how does the synthetic ends mix with the human hair?
My heart dropped when the shower door opened at 1:05 while you were washing your hair. I watch too much true crime 😂
Love this style! My heart stopped at how tight the braid was in the front. I could never take it, my scalp is too sensitive.
I usually wince in pain when stylists are braiding in my front, but I have to say that these ladies did NOT braid tight. It looks neat and tight but it was fine. I didn't even take any Tylenol, like I usually do for several nights after I get braids/twists. I was REALLY happy about that! 😊
❤ love the hair. Blue Ivy kinda resembles youv🥰
Gorgeous 💖
Great tutorial
