Many new shows rely on Tony noms and the subsequent publicity from the telecast. A few shows tend to close every year after the nominations are released. In 2007, "The Pirate Queen" was one of them. The producers, I believed, hoped it would be more successful in Europe.
I really like the music in this show and the story seems compelling. Does anyone know why it closed so early? I know the critics were not nice, but then they rarely are. Any insight?

Yes please. It is near impossible to get it in the UK. Can get it on itunes in US! Not much of a tech wizard but if you let me know what to do. Thanks
