Haram and ahyeon are my favorite vocalists in the group..there's something about them that never fails to catch my eye. They were standing at just one point but still they have so much aura and charisma, they're so captivating. They have the most powerful voices in the group i think 🔥✨

Baby Monster has 5 lead vocalists and 2 top notch rappers. I am just blown away. Ruka has a rap vocal tone that switches up the flow beautifully. I think we should have had more Ruka and Asa rap verses. The rap exchange between the 2 girls was brilliant and exciting to watch.

Ahyeon didn't do a whistle, she did a head voice. It's similar to falsetto, same register, but falsetto is airy. Haram also did it with her performance. Rora also did it with her first live performance introduction. Ruka can hit whistle voice which she showed on her character playlist video but she just did it for fun.
My bias is Chiquita and second is Rora , Pharita , they are my sweet girls.

My bias line are Ruka bc she brings the best stage presence and YG vibe to the group, Asa because she's the ace of the group and arguably the best rapper of her generation, and Haram because she's my favorite voice in the group 🥰
I think Ahyeon was doing falsettos not whistles tho but im not surprised if Ahyeon and Haram doing whistle note because Ruka can 😂
I think in the game that they played, Ahyeon went to whistle note and Ruka went extremely high in her whistle note, which floored Ahyeon and Pharita.

With the group mission the thing that was difficult for Chiquita was correctly building chords. What Ahyeon was saying is that she practiced a lot on her own but when in the group setting instead of singing the note she was supposed to, she ended up following the same note that she was harmonizing with. And that is also the reason that Haram was saying that you can get easily confused because you are listening to someone else's voice instead of keeping to the note that you need to be. As an example in guitar if you build a basic C chord you need three notes: C, E, and G. It is the same when building vocal chords and the second note can be really important. If the second note in a basic C chord is an E♭ then it feel different if the note was E or E♯.
The other thing to keep in mind as well is that Chiquita kept a professional attitude despite being in the condition she was in. It seemed that she valued the group more than just thinking about herself. Which prompted Ahyeon to tell her watch out for your throat and was trying to get her to not try as hard during the last week of practice. That is one of my biggest worries for this group and them being that young. They can't do well for the group if they don't take care of themselves as well. I know that this push was because it was their last evaluation but I hope that it is not a regular occurrence. When you have something like this it builds character (not like Chiquita needed to build more character) but you see where her heart is.
The dance evaluations in YG is usually a group dance. They are usually broken into sub-groups so they are able to determine where the trainee needs to improve on their dance skills as opposed to the other members in the group. In K-pop they have to be a unit where the movements are synchronized but like Ahyeon said in dance if someone is lacking or having a hard time they are able to equal it out between the members but it isn't like that in singing. Through the group dance they can build the synergy between the members and understand each others movements.
And on behalf of Ruka. Her pronunciation of English could be the fact that she does have braces which makes it a little more difficult for her. Since she has been there for almost 5 years now her Korean pronunciation is actually really good but I do agree that her English could be a little better. She does have Pharita and Ahyeon which helps her with that and it seems that Haram may not be completely fulent in English but her pronunciation is really good so she could get help from her as well. Ruka should also be considered a leader in this group since she accels in performance and is the best dancer in the group. You get to see some of it in the next episode.
Oh wow, thank you so much for all the context. We're both learning a lot about the group and about what it takes to become a professional singer/dancer/performer and it's so impressive that this group is so young and so talented. So getting to know even more from these highly in depth comments makes watching their journey all the better!
And about our pronunciations criticisms, we don't mean them in a harsh way. English is an extremely difficult language to learn and the fact that all these girls are basically trilingual is super impressive and really admirable! Our "criticisms" are really just notes. Each member is so talented and their performances are always so awesome to watch
I think you guys are getting it all wrong when you said that Chiquita wanted to perform because she doesn't want to let the group down.
No no no. This is not a group evaluation but individual evaluation. Presumably, someone or more than one will not debut as Baby Monster. YG had emphasis that point several times.
As such, if Chiquita could not perform, then the likelihood of them debuting goes up. Yes, everyone in the group is in fact, their competitor.

8-9 days ago all 7 girls are in Thailand. Chiquita and Pharita's home country is probably doing a vlog or reality show.

No honey (guy on the bottom) ...this was their final VOCAL EVALUATION so no the choreo did not have to "be better" as the point was focusing on their vocal and rap lines. There was literally no choreo ...
You're definitely right! It was just something I noticed that *could* have been better, but it wasn't necessary and it's not like I personally docked them any points in my own evaluation for their performance. They did amazing!

To me this show is set up to highlight Korean members. It started when they didn’t let pharita sing that part in gone. It’s obvious. With a lot of practice pharita would probably have been able to do it
