How I wish that America will be inducted in the Hall of Fame because they deserve it.
Truly a Great American Band that we can all be proud of. To think that I was a grade school kid when they first hit, by the time I was a teen, they had become a household name.
So Happy to know they're in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with all the others. They also crossed over into Country.
They Never did the Country's name any harm either. They Brought Their Best! Just like an American Should!

I'm 59 and I think that from 1965-1975 was the Absolute Greatest amount and quality of music in history...There is nothing so good even close that could be compared to it...Never ever again...Todays stuff is mechanical noise and 💩 that belongs in a garbage 🗑...

There are many good musicians, songwriters and singers also now. Problem is that they are little known because they are not part of the mainstream. One has to search for those gems, but they exist. ;)

Almost every body within our age says always the same even here in Brazil for Brazilian music. My impression is that people's mood at 60's and 70's are alike more calm and hopefull and this is reflects in the music's and arts in general. The tempo, the way to play instruments, the harmonies were all diferent of today's mainstream songs. And for sure rock'n'roll and soft rock balads had it's place. To dont tell about much better and meaningful lyrics.

68 here and still loving these timeless pieces. My wife loves Muskrat Love. Always brings me back to our courting days. Now 50 years together and these songs still brings back so beautiful memories. I still love her just as much🎉

Oh the memories of time gone by! So great we can hop on the Time Machine called music - a quick listen to a tune and, even for just a few moments, we're back there. Back to the time where these songs were played, with the people that were important and how we used to be. Always feels great to take that trip!

As member of gen x there's nothing like music from early 80's, 70's late 60's that meows me out more . When real music was made we all knew what the songs was about clean and clear easy on the ears . Not like this crap today .

My Favourites are "Ventura Highway" ,"A Horse with no name" ,"Muskrat love" ," I need you" ," Another try" ," Lonely People" ," Tin Man" ," Daisy Jane" ," Right before your eyes" , "You can do magic" , "Woman Tonight" but the major of their songs are GREAT and it' s not easy to choose between one song and another in their discography...They are really GOOD SINGERS and MUSICIANS...

One of my very favorite bands when I was a teenager, and still love their music. The Doobie Brothers and Bread were two more favorites of mine.

Saw them in Cocoa Beach at Lori Wilson Park back in the day. They had a car show. Brought the Corvette in. Totally awesome small beach venue. Then more recently at the King Center in Melbourne. Would go again.

Almost 70 and i reached back to Scot Joplin and Forward to mostly everything current 2024.The early 60s to late 80s are special not just because of my age but it was a sweet spot for music that has not been and will never be seen again.
