Michael Daley will present an in-depth look at the need for fire and rescue crews to deploy thermal imaging cameras. The webcast includes an overview of the concepts behind thermal imaging cameras (TICs) and how they operate. During the interactive webcast, he will outline what the TICs can and cannot be used for by emergency crews based on a variety of scenarios including firefighting, hazardous materials, technical rescue and more. Attendees will learn how to develop deployment policies, how to monitor interior crews and important safety ideas when thermal images are being used.
Lt. Michael Daley, a Firehouse.com Contributing Editor, serves with the Monroe Township Fire District No. 3 and he was recently earned the Master Fire Instructor certification from the ISFSI. He is an instructor at the Middlesex County Fire Academy where he developed rescue training curriculum and serves on New Jersey Task Force 1.
