Thanks so much... Jorma used to play small clubs all over Phila in the 80s especially.... Chestnut Caberet had a lot of great acts, rare to find video... Taping was not allowed at most of these shows.
I was fortunate enough to meet Jorma and his wife, as my neighbor was a friend whom he visited in the 80s in NE Phila.
Great to see Jorma clean and sober for so long now.
Always one of the greatest acoustic guitar players, a living legend go see him and Jack!

Hot Tuna is an American blues rock band formed in 1969 by former Jefferson Airplane members Jorma Kaukonen (guitarist/vocals) and Jack Casady (bassist). Although it has always been a fluid aggregation, with musicians coming and going over the years, the band's center has always been Kaukonen and Casady's ongoing collaboration.

For years I had been bugging Bill to get on the ball and transfer these tapes. About two years ago I gave him my Pro Hi8 editing deck. In February sadly Bill Passed away suddenly. Luckily, I was able to grab as much equipment as I could. His brother and sister were throwing EVERYTHING away that they didn't see as valuable and a close friend put aside as much as he could before it was tossed. However I do not know if my deck was tossed or if its sitting in a repair shop for a tune up as Bill was very meticulous about his equipment. I'm currently looking into a good restoration person an will look into Mr. Hazard. Thank you for your support and please share the heck out these!
