I didn't know much about Chidinma before she gave her life to Christ (again) recently so I decided to view some of her old videos that are on TH-cam and i saw this 40 Year Lovestacle movie!! Interesting..I thank God that she gave her life to Christ again..and may God deliver my generation from wicked relatives that DELAY good things in the name of tradition, in Jesus Name
That is a blessing that the young lady came to her senses and gave her heart ❤️ back to the Lord what a marvelous thing that she did congratulations 👏🎉👏🎉 a very great thing that u have done in Jesus name 📛 Amen 🙏🙌🙏🤲🙏
Clarence should produce movies. The guy is still number one in Africa. Flavour and Chidinma, I got nothing but love for you. You guys can't do any wrong in my eyes. Damn!!!! Nkea atom pieces.
I'm not igbo but I love how they're shining the light on serous issues like this within the Afro community and the exposure of raw African traditions. I would rather read subtitles in English and listen to dialogue in the original language. I really think this is the step Africa needs to take so people can have more confidence.
Being an Igbo girl who grew up in another man's country, I'm so proud watching this...I'm grateful to my parents for making sure i understand the igbo language irrespective of growing up and still living elsewhere......igbos really have a rich beautiful culture...i enjoyed the proverbs the elders used😍😍😍😍...flavour x chidinma...i love you guys...my igbo name is Chidinma btw
😂😂😂 😂😂 This is beyond hilarious. I so love this movie! When I tell people this is what happens where I come from, it sounds like folklore. My Christmas is so made! 😆😆😆😆😆

It reminds me of when my sister was getting married 3 years ago. For those who don't understand, this is a typical traditional marriage (wedding) scene in the East, and I can tell you that it spot on. The groom is from Anambra (East Nigeria) while the bride is from Imo (also East Nigeria). However, both states have a history of disagreement, especially in marriage. I really don't know the origin of it (i will like to know). In this video, the bride's family presented an exorbitant price list to the groom's family as a prerequisite for marrying their daughter which led to a serious argument. Even the friends of the groom and bride went afterwards to fan the flames of the discord. Nonetheless, the couple talked between themselves and probably related to the families of their intention to be married. In the end, as always, both families decided to put their differences aside for their children to get married. Igbo culture is fascinating and it is nice to see it depicted here. Omenala ndi Igbo amaka! Long live Igbo!
From history, Anambra and Imo disagree?? Which history? Anambra and Imo state are man made. Just in the 1970s!!!! It used to be just Igbos before the division.
I love this message , I call it message because it’s actually a moral and encouraging message to our people (kinsmen ) . Meanwhile I’m from Imo state but I have to say that it’s not all places or families in Imo state does this . As for me, I had always been saying to my people including the women of our community , it’s not gainful to inflate bride 👰 price , what would you gain or eat to satisfaction from bride price? Well, mine is gonna be very soon and God knows that I won’t allow them do this shit on my day . Whatever he is able to bring My family and I will welcome it . I don’t care 🤷♀️ what the kinsmen and women want. They didn’t even know how much was my tuition till I graduated . God bless Flavour #Ijele
This is so lovely... I like the fact that it was educative about the issues the Igbo culture faces with inter-state marriage and recommending a solution. Brilliant work here
This is a very important message shared in less than 15mins short film. Its good to know that this would change the narrative someday and spread on to the next generations. I am not Igbo, but i am a Nigerian and look forward to Igbo people bring this into reality.
Uncle told 'em "I have lived in the advance worrllld" with an accent... Na that one bring fight... Lol 😂 "You came to marry and you are carrying shoulder" Hahahaha
Watching from Sweden, lol, I remember what happened on my wedding day. Wow God is faithful. Nna I love this video with my kidney. Am proud imo state gal
Lol, funny how the dude at the end by saying he's called OBELE NA MANCHESTER subtly tried to remind his inlaws that Anambra men can be both humble and proud when they need to be seconds after they finished pleading. Mad stuff.
Watching this makes me so happy and want to get married fast. I'm so thankful to my parents for being brought into this world as an Igbo child (Ada Anambra). I'm grateful! #IgboAmaka It's funny how my dad is from Anambra and my mom is from Imo. Loool
Thank you Mr. Flavour for addressing this issue in your own way, I believe the people of Imo in general will have to handle this just as it has been displayed here. Thank you once again ezigbote nwafo Igbo.

Omenala Igbo ga adị! Ị love my tradition 💃💃💃💃💃 Anambra and Imo bụ nwanne #ProudImoState ❤️❤️ Long live Igbo land! Long live Imo State!! Long live Anambra State!!!
This is a very vital information portrayed in this musical video. The tradition in most part of Imo state, Nigeria, placing high Bride Price on their daughters is a tradition begging for review. It is marriage not business transaction. As much as some have what it takes, there are many who wouldn't. A lot of old single ladies operating beer parlour businesses, sugar mommies, call girls, L don't think it is their choice to engage in such businesses rather being responsible wives and career women.
Assisti ao vídeo e o ritual de pedido de casamento é semelhante em toda África afinal. Eu sou de Angola, e fiquei arrepiado de ver como é tudo igual. África, minha linda África...
So cool.love you Flavourful. Such a traditional fine bobo. Love how you showcase our culture and our women in your songs and videos. Keep it it bro.Great work of art.👌
This is my first time watching this video. I've really loved Flavor and Chindinma since Ada Ada. Now watching this, I can see how you guys in Igbo lands put high tag prices on your girls 😅😅😅It's funny as a script but come to real life it's so sad. Your girls are human not a goat for sale. Watch out for the price so they can get married to their beloved men. The last point, both should get married and then keep up with heartwarming and insightful videos like this. 😍😍Thank you and much love🥰
Loving you both. If you are proud to be Igbo let me see your likes!

In terms of bride price, in Anambra is relatively cheaper than in imo state. That's the major difference.
Absolutely true, the two states don't agree in terms of marriage culture. This is a typical setting between imo bride and Anambra groom.
What about Enugu
@@tyronelorenzovalentio3414 Enugu state is the cheapest oo
