I love the tutorial. It's really helpful. The background sound is a little bit distracting though. I want to know how you arrived at the fabric dimensions and how to implement that for a regular skirt. Thank you Sofi!, I hope to get a reply soon

Hi Felicia, you need to measure the total waist measurement of your skirt, then decide how many pleats are going to get into that measurement. For instance, when you make 5 pleats, you cover 5 ". When you open the pleats, you will measure the total length of 15" fabric needed for five pleats. If you had 26" waist then you are going to get 26 pleats. Multiply 26X3.
