I was expecting the arty to get stuck under a cliff and forcing him to jump if he wanted to get him, or something along those lines. THAT would have been ultimate greed. This was just your average no cap kill all situation.
I mean, if he's gonna be greedy, why not fire all but 1 AP shell as he's driving around.... might as well go for the whole shebang if you are going to risk everything at that point in the game
I'm a free to play player and the guard is my favorite tank that I picked up from the bond store. It makes good credits and the tank overall is pretty good.
I enjoy playing the guard, my WR isn't the best in it but it's a fun tank... I think it's underrated premium, I have had some amazing games in this tank.
I have a mod from Alsain's pack that moves my bounty equipment around from tank to tank without having to do it manually (WOT + is required, of course). It means that you only need to have a couple of each that you've spent the 3 million credits on.

well maybe the Guard didnt wanna risk capping under an artillery blind fire. I as an arty won some games blindfiring the cap circle while enemy was capping.
If I'd been playing that M44 I'd have been bushed, and had AP loaded - I always carry 1 or 2 in arty "For Close Encounters"... 180 pen... maybe in the side... that Guard might have died.
my honest opinion is that the obj 416 is far better than the guard. The 330mm heat pen on the gold rounds, and better dpm and better gunhandling makes the tank really great as a light tank/medium.
I'm not sure this is a greedy play. Sitting at low HP and being stationary for the arty to come after you feels bad. They can blind fire once and then move in to TD you. That cap is too exposed. If OP could take a hit, they probably would have sat in cap. Telling the arty they have to roll twice to win. But telling the arty to roll once to win, that isn't smart to tempt fate. That capping when they can ambush you, getting off the first shot is asking the arty to be highly unlucky. And the arty has time to spot and aim. (This isn’t a Bishop trying to crawl half way back.)
i use the unskinned version (STG - had it for a long time) - i don't know if it's been "luck" or i just know how to use it; but i've had some HUGE games in this - as long as it's not facing tier10 - much different story, then. LOL
There's few players that can pull this off, but a whole lot of players who think they can do it. They would rather throw a game on the off chance of getting one more kill or a little more damage in. Their low win rates prove it, but they have to drag me down with them.
I disagree on this one. When you have 12 frags, you go for 13 every time. And if he capped, the M44 would have had 7 or 8 chances to drop a shell on the Guard which you did not mention.
Only players who were part of beta test and the first years talk about ”frags”. Ask any tanker that joined 3 or more years after launch and they will have no idea what it means.
After this game, everybody’s (myself included)going to dust off their Guards and play them. Seems to be the trend after a QB video. Best time to 3 Mark that arty is after QB features a TOG 🤣 Rock on Tankers 🤘😎
I have the STG which is the same tank, and it absolutely reeks. I get to play against tier 6s about once a year. Most of the time I play against tiers 9 and 10, because WG matchmaking. As a bottom tier tank, the STG/Guard must be one of the worst tanks in the game. Slow rate of fire, no armour, slow. It can't brawl whatsoever, so if you get on a town/small map you are screwed. I hate it.
Surprising to see the guard ever being featured again Its such a forgettable tank so its nice to see it here for once... maybe someday we'll see a tank like the Liberte? Anyway I used to play it a lot for my main credit maker, often switching between it or the t343, and sometimes the patriot. Ive grinded credits with all of them so much that I unexpectedly 2 marked each one. But now I only play the lorr 40t to farm my credits since it fits my playstyle the most
what you see as not exceptional or outright rubbish, could be the "Game of a lifetime" to somebody else who wanted to share it with you ... having said that, mayhap you should clarity the parameters that you are looking for as not to have any misunderstandings. or someone being outright butt-hurt from your seemingly cold and "mean" response, or lack there of....just food for thought...

T29 had the upgraded turret, with the "ears". 1290hp is what the T29 has with field mods and no hardening.
I would have thought the stat padder would have fired off the rest of his shells to get yet another medal.
