A great demonstration to show people that these kinds of high voltages, are nothing to fool with! Attempting to steal cable, has often resulted in death for the perpetrator! I once saw a man shoot down a copper line with a rifle, from across a valley. The one fell to the ground (unenergized) near his feet! The other end flew 30 feet away to a cross country 280,000 volt line and energizer the earth around the man, turning him to a smoldering heap of a crispy critter! The worst of it, was his 4 yr old son watching, from 100 feet away! If you steal powerlines, you may be next!

Most of it , it looks like very high voltage ⚡ but not much amps. Like car's battery 🔋 it will spark very loud touching both terminals with a ranch but it won't kill you . But if you touch the spark plugs it will relaxes you muscles really nice 👍🏼 try it .

Why they are DC and not AC is beyond my understanding. I thought that only AC travels far. But these are the tings that I learned on the internet.
