These are lovely. I'm need to invest in layering stencils. I love mica sprays. They make incredible vackground or use for die cutting layered flowers.

Honey I just reorganized my stencils into 6x8” binders which I love, and for the large 8x11” for quad cards a bigger binder but I only have a couple of those. But 6 full binders of stencils. Of course like everything else, just sitting there because I work to hard being disabled trying to take care of my property, car, etc. but I’ve got a ton!
WOW I’m impressed you got the time to do that, it must have taken ages !!!! I keep saying I’m going to do it, but just never find the time. !!! X
@@marionemberson I just saw your stencil video and was mucho impressed! One of my favs you’ve ever done! Probably because I haven’t used my stencils. But you showed so many ways! Brilliant! But it took very little time to put the stencils in the pockets and in the binders. If you can do it and have quite a few I would suggest it highly! They come in a 6x8” and I even put my slimline in there that peek out a bit. But the larger one, I bought the binder on Amazon and the same pocket pages from SBC brand. The 6x8 binders were called SNAP! Truly I did them all in 2 days and not full days either. So much nicer!

Your techniques are so fun, as are your videos. On a side note, I would not use my brushes in Distress Oxide and then into dye ink, it's going to mess up your dye ink pads. Oxide = paint. I hope it's not too late 😕 Looking forward to your next video 💚💙💜

Lots of fun techniques! Thanks for sharing. I did find myself gasping when you used a brush that contained Distress Oxide Ink with the Catherine Pooler inks. I have a set of brushes dedicated to my Oxides because one of the first things we were told when Tim introduced the Oxides is that we should use separate tools with them because they can/will contaminate regular Distress ink pads. Maybe it's really not a problem, but for years now I've kept separate blending tools for the Oxides. I'm looking forward to part 2. I have well over 100 stencils and they are very under-used.

Oh Marion! I still have not tried dry embossing and I’d love it with all the stencils I have! I wonder with all I’m going through if I’ve made an almost fully stocked with every product in multiples, room just to have to sell one day because I fear I’ll never get out of this trapped gorgeous house because I owe so little I can’t afford to move! But I can’t keep up with all the work with my disabilities. Can you imagine a room full of new things to try and never time to use it? It’s literally torture to not have any happiness.

That is exactly me, hence I’m trying to use what I have, although I did fail at a sale the other day, but it wasn’t massive 😂😂🥰🥰🥰
If you use a micro fiber cloth, it works a lot better to clean your brushes. When the cloth gets filled up with ink, you can wash it - but don't put it in with clothes but maybe old towels that you don't care about.

I’m really naughty and every so often I put them in the washing machine, in a little netted bag. I’ve been told off on here for doing that, so don’t copy me 😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰

No, I don’t, but I’ll see if I can do one, without too much machinery, I’ve made my own using my Silhouette machine and some Mylar I bought. But there are other ways 🥰🥰🥰

Hi Donna, I’m sorry, but I searched as well, and it’s no longer available, I just wanted to use lots of old stash, as I don’t do it enough. It’s called scattered leaves by honey bee, you may find it somewhere, where I couldn’t. 🥰🥰🥰
What do you do with the cards?
I send lots to friends and family, I keep some that I absolutely adore and can’t let go and I give LOTS to charity to raise funds. 😍😍😍
How can I find the names of the stencils and the manufacturer?
Hi, I did put them in the video description, well, the ones that are still available that is, I have so many that aren’t made anymore, but the idea was, I wanted to use my old stash, some good places to check out for stencils are The Crafters Workshop, and any of ŷour favourite companies, most companies, Altenew, Catherine Pooler, Hero Arts etc all manufacture their own stencils.

I don’t think you explained what “bumping“ is.
Sorry, it’s where you ink through the stencil and then move it over slightly to create a shadow effect, as if it’s been ‘bumped over’ hope that helps 😍😍😍
