On the by pass is actually clockwise to tighten it up. Counterclock to take it off.

Oh great? I just did counter-clockwise and already bolted down the water pump.

Thank you for your explanation of what the lil things, everybody else doing the same job never said anything about the small hoses. In particular the water pump bleeding hose. Now I know! Thx again.

Thank you for giving the little details! The workshop manual has nothing about the hoses. Is there an o-ring that goes INSIDE where that small bleeder hose goes into the pump?

I'm trying to uninstall the fan. Is it counter clock or anti clock wise? Is anit clock wise, right? I heard you say clock wise.
