I have never seen a main character with this many frames of animation on any Atari game before. The animation would have used most of the memory of the cartridge in the past.
Seeing a rhythm-based game like this makes me wonder if it would ever be possible to see an Bit.Trip Runner-like game on the console...I suppose it would be a lot like Pitfall, except you can't stop and you can only move in one direction...The 1st time I ever saw the original Bit.Trip Runner I thought it would be a fantastic game on the 2600.
