In Undertale you can choose Pacifist or Genocide, but what if instead it was a fight between the two? 4 of us journeyed through Undertale Together's Multiplayer, except we were both split into different teams either trying to spare or kill as many monsters as we can. So if two humans want to be pacifists and the other two want violence, then which team will win? Which side in the battle for Pacifism or Genocide will overtake the other?

It's wonderful how the translation from "one human falls into the Underground" to "several humans fall" really goes exactly as you'd expect it to go: instead of being a single frightened child, it's a crowd of chaotic goblins going every which way.

It might be more fair if instead of p1 always going first, it was either a random turn order or it was cycled (so one battle it would be p1-p2-p3-p4, then the next p1 would be sent to the back of the line and p2 would go first, and then the next battle p2 would go to the back and p3 would go first, etc)
to be fair, pacifist's a lot harder to do than genocide so the headstart for them is fair
Well yea but some can be spared instantly which doesn't seem very fair for those doing Genocide. Also that's the point of pacifist to begin with, giving them an advantage ruins the point into putting effort into sparing.

Fun fact: if you use the stick during the Mettaton EX fight, then you'll get a big boost in ratings. The big boost only happens once, though.
Mystic and Flam could of just lost the papyrus fight on purpose so that eventually they could reach the point where they could skip the papyrus fight

fun fact if you brought the stick you could spare every dog in 2 turns :/ including the amalgamate dog and dying to papyrus and getting captured 3 times would allow you to spare him easily

I need to bring attention to this. I was doing genocide in undertale and killed sans and realized sans health bar doesn't show when you kill him unlike every other monster. In deltarune the health is only there before you attack them and not when you attack them. Someone look into this. This could be really important or I'm thinking to hard about this

Okay, before i watch this I have a feeling this is PRETTY fundamentally Rigged in pacifist's favor.
1. Many Monster's are free points for the pacifist side and i dont feel like there's ANY real free points for genocide, aside from maybie one or two. Whimsun and froggits if you beat their hp to low come to mind
2. The genocide peeps aren't getting the weapons they really Need i dont think.
3. you can spare monsters if their health is low and i think this applys to a lot of the monsters though I dont know for sure.
The problem Ultimatley Becomes this: If the Pacifist go first, they get a bunch of free points. If the genocide go first, Pacifist can just spare what they cant kill quick enough or kill before it reaches the low health spare range. At least thats my current theory. Time to watch the video : )
After watching the video: Its ASTONISHINGLY closer then I thought. It really did come down to a 1 or two point difference, and I wouldnt be suprised if those one or two points WERE the starting Whimsuns. I still feel like pacifist has the advantage, but not by much. One or two very subtle rules could easily make this a bit more balenced.
Even better would be some way to simply make the monsters overall more challenging and not free points, though. reward skill and not luck.

rigged the genociders didn't get the weapons they needed.
it was actually Pretty damn close. I think its just fundamentally Easier for pacifist to win just because of how undertake works. even if genociders get weapons or go first, that weapon change has to be enough to not accidentally reward the pacifist players by getting monsters to LOW hp.
@@Baby-Blue-102 in know this is true its just kinda shady to not let those on the killing side fight to the best of their ability or do as they choose with weapons considering the mercy team would not have anything to do with them
@@Comic_Snas It could be that they've done test runs and the weapons Completley break the balence so the pacifist side does their best to prevent it, but otherwise I suppose you make a fair point.
They all seem like pretty chill people, though, And i think they wouldnt be the type to be doing anything shady on purpose.
