Kany choreographed both Untie and Maniac which is why the dance is so good. She worked with Beyonce previously but has now committed herself to VIVIZ signing a permanent contract with their company BPM. So more great comebacks can be expected in future.
VIVIZ actually wanted Untie to be their title track as they loved it but the company wanted Maniac instead. So only Maniac got a music video. But they compromised with the members to allow them to have a performance video for Untie which is just a B side. But it almost got promoted to a double A side comeback as they promoted Maniac for 2 weeks on music shows and then did a third week of promotions performing Untie instead. But everyone was sleeping on both songs until the dance challenge for Maniac went viral globally with Pop Your Ongdong and suddenly everyone was trying to dance it. Millions then wanted to see the music video it came from and started buying the album too. The views went from 4 million after the promotions ended, up to 20 million 3 months later and it is still growing. They even made a mention on Korean news that remarkably the song had started to climb up the charts again months after the song promotions had ended. It has put VIVIZ on the map and done wonders for spreading their name globally. So the company did get that right it seems.
Thank you for a comprehensive explanation, I really appreciate it! I'm happy that the songs got attention then, because both are some of the best kpop songs I've heard
But… Untie did have promotion. Not as long as Maniac but they did an extra week of music shows and stages to promote Untie solo and when the MV was released there was plenty of fuzz imo. It’s just that VIVIZ has the same problem as most of all small groups. It’s hard for people to pay attention to them unless they have something viral like Maniac did. It’s really a shame because they’re soooo good in every way.

Ohhh I'm excited to see what comes next

Viviz exploded onto the scene in this comeback with Maniac and Untie. They are too good not to be known.
I believe it, so good!
Untie had live stages. It was a staggered promotion schedule
TVXQ down makes me down for real. They're perfect❤
100% ONLY BOPS
TVXQ U-know Yunho's Follow (2019), Thank U (2021) and NEXUS | Reality Show (2023) will blow your mind away. ❤
And Yunho has A BUNCH of solo works.
I would also add Drop (2017) and Champagne (2015) so Moisa can see the evolution of his solo.
I tried my best reacting to all of his solos because of these comments, thank you!

Really! It never popped up for me, I imagine TH-cam and socials didn't recommend it to me, because I only saw Maniac promo
