Thanks ❤ This was superb! Managed to make the battery change with the help of this video! A few notes: when removing the left side ”subwoofer” the sixth screw is on the USB connector side, this was not shown on the video. So do not force it open before checking this! Another thing - one really needs a soft cushion on the table when making assembly as at the very moment you connect the new battery the JBL Xtreme is powered on. And working this upside down you are pressing the power button all the time! Also, putting the left side ”subwoofer” back on, please make sure to check the rubber insulator back into the groove - it’ll come off easily when disassembling. Fourth thing, one must be careful when putting back the LED ribbon connector, as it may fold between the plastic plate and the frame when putting the plastic cover back on!
This was great! Way easier than I expected. Thanks for the video. I was pleasantly suprised how everything, despite the compact form factor, seemed prepared for repairs so thanks to JBL too, I guess 🙂

Hey! You can also disconnect and remove the battery by just removing one of the drivers. I did it this way and it's much easier and faster
thanks for good tip :)
its a great video but that’s the right radiator you have it upside down
Hallo, i change the batterie, still not charging
maybe damaged charging socket ? Another cable, charger needs to try.
Thank you for this video!
i thought it was a 10,000 mAh?
A 10000mah at 3.7v is equal to a 5000mah at 7.4 volts. You get the same Wh (watt-hour) rating both ways.
