My sister is an artist. I actually commissioned her to make this painting for me. It’s about 95% identical. I had a few changes (I got my dogs paw print outlined in the stars ~ and had her keep the ‘falling star’ out since it was quite challenging to replicate) I have it hanging up in my apartment. This remix was found in a critical moment of my life, thank god for whoever put these 2 songs together.

This song came out during one of the roughest patches of my life and I would bump it every day. 1st year in college struggling and I was feeling lost, my sister was going down a dark path, I worked at a job I hated, car kept breaking down every other month and completely drained my savings, My fucking identity was stolen and that was a bitch to handle, Someone broke into my house and stole ALL of my things including my laptop which had all of my schoolwork on it, this was right at the end of the semester and I was too demoralized at that point to try and re-do all of my assignments so I failed all but one class that semester. Said fuck it and moved to another state to figure my shit out. Now my sister has grown into a beautiful, smart and strong woman serving in the united states navy and I started my own business and am loving being my own boss. This song reminded me of how far I've come since that time, got me all emotional and shit.
