I appreciate that you used normal people techniques to apply everything (the same brush for contouring your nose as you did your cheek bones and using the brush that's included in the eyeshadow palette). It's sometimes annoying watching make up TH-cam tutorials and they have like six different brushes for everything. This felt much more "normal." :)

Penelope Collett a lift is just when they apply a perming solution to your lashes so that they are lifted and hold a curl.. the same effect a mascara does to your lashes just without having to add mascara!
It looks lovely on you. I love how the eyeshadow gives you some smokeyness without making you look tired or over the top. It also really suits your eye color and I totally see this look for an every day kind of situation

Lauren, you should try the L’Oréal Lash Paradise mascara. It makes your lashes look SO long. It’s honestly my favorite, and I’ve tried all sorts of mascara.. Tarte, Too Faced, Benefit, etc.
