Many people will never be able to enjoy one of the finest things in life: a nap, in the middle of the day
My wife recently bought me one of those Big Joe giant bean bag chairs. I was running a cold and went home early from work and crashed into the bean bag with a pillow and blanket, the ceiling fan and a soccer game on with the volume on low in the background. It was a beautiful thing. Pure bliss.
@@thejohnhendit's the little things 👍🏼 hope your feeling better.
@@thejohnhendshoutout for the nap, my brother! 🔥🤘
I left my job a couple of months back to work on my business full-time. Its so freeing not to be working flat out every hour of the day now!. Having time truly is a blessing
Hey kicking back in the heat of the day is a refreshing thing and helps with evening goings on.
I turned 67 yesterday, over the last four or five years I've learned to listen to what the body is saying to me. I don't push myself to the point of falling over because my body doesn't recover like it use to. I still think I'm 20 but my body reminds me I'm out of my mind with letting my back injuries run amuck.
Life is good, enjoy life with an attitude of gratitude!
The stuff you do to get people commenting always cracks me up
we've been without rain for weeks here in NC! My cows are eating 3,000 lbs of hay per day right now!!
My property is so dry with no rain as well ill be praying for rain josh and I might even do a rain dance as well
Working at natures pace always beats being a slave to a clock.
The crop of trees are looking great! You are blessed to live on land with access to irrigation. I sure do envy your lifestyle, naps by the creek on a warm day. God bless you and your family
Something very calming about WS videos.
I love how he ended the video telling everyone to avoid taking naps around your woman 😂
I mean it’s true they can’t handle us relaxing 😊
I think women who make good, productive homemakers have a tendency to not appreciate a goid, productive man's need for a good midday nap.
The solution, of course, is compromise.
Create the illusion that you don't take naps, and for the woman to make the deliberate effort to avoid finding her man napping.
Oh, stop complaining, you p*ssies, it's a great locator/homing tool-whenever you want to find out where your wife is, or speak to her, just sit down comfortably in a relaxed position and wait a couple of seconds 👍
Men and women need separate living spaces. Spending too much time around women just creates problems. A basement/den/workshop is the place to relax and even if you are not working (get a big couch in there), let her think you are.
@@lookoutforchristhis is a good point
I watch your videos and I'm envisioning a life by a river. What an amazing place to have lunch. It's the little things.
Cody, you need a pond!
Highly intelligent people take naps! Even when the body rests, the mind is still active. While you rest, you're actually working your problems out also.
Or at least that's what I tell my boss ( o.o)
I just disappear for literally 5-10 min and come back bull dozing the problems with solutions.
"Let's go drive around and look busy for a while."
Haha! Wonderful.
This like so many episodes is solid life observation, advice, and gratitude documented to the best of a guy's ability. TH-cam doesn't get better than this.
I’m so impressed with the irrigation system. The system used by the pioneers and it still works. And your property is so beautiful. Having the tent near the river is a great place to escape to. How is the fishing? Mrs W is an awesome lady.
I love the Randy Marsh look.
I was just about to ask if the kickstand was down, and then the words popped up on the screen "proho left the kickstand down" 😅😂
Nothing beats a good nap after a hard day at work
The ending was great. On point for us all :D
You sir, are so blessed. Amen...
He is, and he shares his knowledge which is sharing his blessing. I wish you, Wranglerstar and all followers well 🙏
105 down here in South Alabama. Prepare yourselves for heat.
A gutter cleaning tool is a vheap and easy funnel available at the hardware store to act as a good tool to fill those snakes in the future. Love the content
LOL... yeah, I had a heck of a head-scratcher when I couldn't get my CRF250L to start... thought I was going to have to walk home when I finally figured out the kickstand being down cuts the engine when in gear. I had the same issue when I had accidentally turned the killswitch to 'dead' and couldn't figure why it turned over, but didn't start, LOL. 🏍
I'll tell you what, that weir looks mighty inviting for a dip in this heat... I do miss those morning plunges.
I realy enjoy those scenes with the piano music you have in the videos once in a while.
It has something peacefull and enjoyable in it. Would love to see a little more of those.
My wife can’t stand when I take a nap. Think sleep has been our biggest issue in our 17 years together. Never understood it.
I feel that brother...
Feel guilty about nap.
@@tballready right, love my wife. She does a ton for our family. But we will probably never agree on the usefulness of a nap :) such a goofy disagreement. Unfortunately for her, I take one when I need it.
She’s farming you for labor and provisioning. When you stop to rest and recover all she sees is that her benefits are being diminished. This is why they should spend most of their time in the kitchen.
Never apologize for taking a nap.
Cody, I know you will never burn one of your longest running sponsors. But you should know that all the Wi-Fi camera systems (all brands not just simplisafe) are extremely vulnerable to very cheap and easy to obtain Wi-Fi jammers. A lot of the Venezuelan gangs who recently came to the US are using them very successfully. If your cameras aren’t hard wired. They or any govt agent can easily jam them.
Had to pause the video at the Honda kickstand scene to write this comment: I spent almost an hour, the day after I bought my first bike(Kawasaki) thinking the previous owner must have scammed me, until I figured out it was the kickstand…
Also: awesome video, thank you.
The motorcycles know when the kickstand is down?
I truly enjoy the irrigation videos
I love playing Minecraft with my son as well! We always sit close together and play. It’s like camping, but with zombies and skeletons! 🤣
Great video, now time to watch it!
It'll be 96 today in South Carolina. And we need rain bad here in the upstate!
Great work, cabin is looking amazing.
Awesome to see old school irrigation.
awedome video, Mrs W is Legend!! the end clip is the best!!!
Nice work getting the irrigation dialed in. Water is key.
Growing up in florida, my feet got so tough i could walk down an asphalt street at 1 pm in July! Now im almost 61 and my feet are like baby skin!😂
Yeah, I could do the same thing in FL. 100 degree heat and walking on asphalt. People were shocked I could walk on that for so long.
@@ilovemarinor those were the days. I grew up in indian rocks beach. The main landers at school looked at us like we were trash. I was 14, had a motor boat and lived on the intercoastal waterway. What else does a boy need?
We desperately need water in east Georgia.
Really getting concerned living in a pine forest…
I really need to buy one of those fire skids.
Enjoyed the video as usual, God bless y’all!
I like how you ended that one..projects look amazing Cody.
Simply-safe genuinely have some quality products. Its a proper sponsor.
The kickstand down! Hahaha, that is a good one!
Glad to know I'm not the only one. I just got a brand new 300L for my first bike and the kick stand shut off really is hard to get used to. haha.
Your place is just awesome!
The kickstand thing is hilarious
Mrs. W is certainly your Segulah. YaH bless you and yours.
Nice Cody :) That is a PROHO winner, many great ideas came from a nap! ty ❤💯🙏
Here in Minnesota we have had rain every single day the past 2-3 weeks and a dam is about to collapse
Also, as far as naps go, I have noticed that the more I work outside the more energy I have compared to when I am working inside. I love a good nap once in a while, but they drag me down most of the time. Working slower with handles versus power tools definitely gave me a new energy that I never knew I had. Such as hand drilling versus a battery powered drill and that’s just one tiny little example. Doing things every day on our little homestead has been energizing. Unfortunately, my daily job is that I am the only maintenance guy at the Marriott hotel that I work at, so 99% of my eight hour workday I am inside and I always feel so tired after work, but I don’t even go inside when I get home that way I can avoid a nap and energize myself for the rest of the day. I can say I sleep very well at nightafter doing so. Anyways, again God bless.
Another great video thankyou and god bless
I was going to say it sounds like your kickstand switch but you figured it out. 👍🏻
My first thought was, "Is the kickstand up?" - guess who's been caught out by that as well...😅
Love a bit of irrigation content
@wranglerstar, how do you feel about SimpliSafe being internet connected? I feel the platform as a whole is counter to your thoughts on outside access and control like with your water supply.
That is something that you did not have back at the old homestead... a get away building with a cot... I do miss the old place for sure! But this place has a beautiful river and mountain view that the old place did not...
Great day
all love from serbia
Great video today
Glad you enjoyed it
That nap looked good
Cody I love your sense of trolling less intelligent people. And the reference to the Ukrainian flag amused me this morning. The wise know it's the flag of Sweden, plus you've had it in your videos since the beginning (it's also the birthplace of your wonderful wife). god bless you
ever see anything strange around the mountain? love your content and you are in a slice of heaven there.
Ukrainian virtue signal flag… OMG I almost died laughing out loud on that one. Cheers
"Ukrainian Virtual Signal Flag" !
Phew and it was up to the mid 60's today in the UK !
I have that same jeep color and all with the 4.0
I think you have a white ford pickup in the background also. I too have a white ford pickup 2012 f350
As the Navy SEaL would say slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
I just have to say, I feel like I have before, but the view on your property is breathtaking. I unfortunately live in New Jersey. “yes I am in East Coast guy. “😂 but my wife and I do plan on moving out west. Probably Montana or Wyoming or maybe even South Dakota. We are praying for right around 100 acres so we can live off of our own land with our own two hands. But for now we are doing our best with what little we have in the woods of New Jersey to Homestead. My wife makes homemade meals as I tend to our property. We are raising chickens for eggs and possibly even meat. I built the chicken coop out of pallet wood and good old-fashioned nails with a vintage carpenters hatchet from the 20s that I restored. I also started milling my own lumber with a chainsaw. Ever since I was a young boy, my dad taught me to work with my hands, in July of last year after he passed away, I started collecting vintage tools and restoring them, not just to look at use to work for another hundred years or more. Anyway, I know I am going on and on, but my dream and goal in life is to get away from the East Coast. May I say it again, the views in the west are breathtaking. Love the videos and the encouragement, God bless.
It is cold And short summer in the areas you mentioned.
I do admire your commitment to the hat
Can you use a trenching tool on the skidsteer?
Yes a nap is one the greatest things
regarding jokes one of your best videos
Could you drop us the link to those straps? I canne find them! Ty!
Seems like everything I get into threw out the year I jump up on this channel within days it's here. 100% when he said "and chips" I felt that authenticity of his happiness there was chips involved those are always happiness and great thing.
A little surprised you didn't go for a metal roof. Snow slides right off and they last longer than shingles.
Thank god for Jeriah the man servant. Where would the U.S.Forest service be without him.
Uriah - cool name
Who makes the sand socks, tarps, and bungee cords?
can we get a Mrs. W garden tour video?
I want a nap too... Next to a river is bonus!
Looking to get my father a dolmar, but the one like yours on Amazon says it will take up to 6 months to get here. Any suggestions on where else to look for one Cody? Thanks
I am laughing about leaving the kickstand down on the Honda bike. I did the exact same thing on my big Kawasaki Vulcan cruiser a couple weeks ago. Happens to us all...!
Love to property you have. Ill have myself something nice in the future still 21 so maybe its a little early haha
As a loyal Honda owner I to have cussed many times only to forget to put the kickstand up 😂
lol yer too much M.r. WRANGLERSTAR !! lol God bless you all!
Just wondering if that was a proper US Forest service nap ?
You better talk to the watermaster. You might have some good information and solutions
Good to know there are still good women out there.
Prohos don’t stand downwind of the spray paint spray
Yeah you're on the money about this summer being unusually hot and dry.
How do you plan to get rid of the stickers on your acrage?
You are one fortunate man Cody, I know it hasn't been easy, god bless you and your beautiful family!
I hope when I become a worthy man I can find myself a trad wife. P.S. the sweat loaf is getting so big!
I assume that water is great drinking water as well?
Link to Volle (sp) strap?
Dam!
Proho should use steel roofing.
Not shingles
What mountain is that in the background?
What’s going on the the video quality? It seems like it was a little glitchy when moving?
link to those straps please
You are a lucky man, sir. What did you do in life to deserve a woman like that! I kid I kid.
Whers the link to them straps or what did he call them bolen or bolay straps
Bro the Life
You should get yourself a hand trowel for loading those sandbags. You probably have one.
Does Mrs.W have get own 4-wheeler? Hope she doesn't have to walk to bring out the lunch.
