- In mid-2015, the Marine Corps military police officer community created their own course to train their newest MP officers in their military occupational specialty.
The most elite and respected branch of the Armed Forces- The US Marine Corps. Really awesome to see how our Marines are trained.

MP's usually end up doing the job of infantry and vice versa. This is not good.
@@scowler92 the Army require all Soldiers under the 31-Bravo MOS to do Infantry School, though that may have been something as of recent.

@@scowler92 yeah I have no idea what is going on with the Military anymore. I am enlisting in the Marines because the Army is just completely throwing their standards out of the fucking window and letting any yahoo in at this point.
Also because the Marines actually suddenly have become appealing thanks to a decent Recruiter who hasn't lied or bullshitted me.

Whatever you do, don't train before taking the asvab. Before I took the asvab 3 days ago I did a ruck run and a normal run along with body weight exercise. I fucked myself become i finished just in time to have an hour to meet my recruiter at the recruiters office and as I was testing i was nearly falling asleep 😂
There were way to many questions that I said "F it" on. I was expected to make a 70 because of how I did on the practice test but I made a... 27.
I'm taking it again in 26 days though so I know what to expect and study. And I know not to go as hard as I did last time on the day of the test lol. Good luck buddy

MSG guards guard the American embassies and MP guards the bases such as camp Pendleton, ETC.

i scored a 67 on the asvab and qualified for all the jobs, your technical skills have to just be decent tbh as long as you are not an idiot you should be fine

Sosa goodluck they told me it’s a waste studying because it asked about life skills like parts of an engine or how water flows and electrical questions but I would study on math and English they sell cheap asvab books

Do not pick this MOS, just go infantry, have some other poor schmuck pickup MP and still get called a POG
Every Marine has earned the Eagle Globe and Anchor. There are no POGs. We are all Marines. I operated a machine gun on helicopters and repaired avionics equipment when not flying. Do you really think a Marine Pilot is a POG? Try riding into a hot LZ with him and you'll change your mind.

@@hml3672 I knew MPs in Iraq that saw combat and I also knew grunts that stood gate duty at the base and never left the wire.
MP is a Law enforcement of the Military they enforce law and order within the military and Infantry is a ground force within the Army either way they all go to war whn a soldier disobeys orders he/she will be dealt with by Military Police
