Amazing forest roads to Tarawera Falls, Via Lake Rerewhakaaitu

In this video I take the back roads to Kawerau and the Tarawera Falls.
I check out Lake Okaro and Lake Rerewhakaaitu on the way past. Then via some amazing forest roads and Lake Matahina.
It was an amazing trip and the falls were incredible.

Yahoo I live n Kawerau. Have been to the falls and also Matahi dam. For camping try lake aniwhenua.

There were campervans and stuff staying there so you'd probably be ok.

Did you keep walking another 15mins or so and see where the water goes into a hole in the ground (to then come out the side of the cliff)?
