I feel like Isabelle’s gonna die in the next episode since in the promo Daryl’s telling someone he’s not going to lose Laurent. My guess is Isabelle is dead by this point and Daryl’s talking to the black dude or Carol.
I think he understood what she meant but he's afraid he's not used to getting close to anyone especially not romantically he's been guarded for so long he didn't know how to express himself in that moment but perhaps if Isabelle survives he will have more time to express his feelings.
The main show ended somewhere around 12 years after the outbreak first started if you start from 2010. The first 8 seasons took place within 3 years. Then you have the 1 and a half year time jump + the 6 year time jump in season 9, so between 10-11 years at that point. Then the entire whisperer arc combined with the commonwealth arc was between 2-3 years, because we see one winter at the end of season 9 and then there's another 1 year time jump in the finale of the show. So with all of that math, 12-13 years would be the timeline for the main show. So yeah, Carol saying that she was a tourist 13 years ago wouldn't be right.

They are small insects that use flashes of bio-luminescence (an organic chemical reaction creating visible light) from their posterior to attract mates of the same species. (certain varieties have adapted to mimic the signals of others to draw in other species to eat them) There's not enough heat in a swarm of 500 fireflies to light a candle. Personally, during TWD for a time, yes, I shopped Carol and Daryl. Once Carol got her legs under her as a solid character. I could see it when she was seriously hurting, but that would've been wrong. You have to let someone heal before dropping something heavy like a new relationship on them. Then, for a while I shipped them. But by the time Connie became a part of the crew, I saw them more like brother and sister. That is a special relationship that I have with a couple of absolutely incredible women, neither of them are interested in me, I'm not interested in them in that kind of way.

Seasons 4-8 surprisingly all takes place another year later all in 2012 due to Judith never aging and Maggie never showing her pregnancy bump because season 6-8 is a span of only about a month or 2. maybe 3. Yes chandler Riggs ages but canonically he is supposed to be 14 that entire time and judith remains 1 years old that entire time as well. Season 9 eps 1-5 takes place a year and a half later in 2014 making Judith 3. Then season 9 eps 5-16 takes place 6 years later in 2020 making Judith 9 and RJ 5. The larvae live in rotting wood and forest but the fields are all being paved over. Also too much artificial lighting is on at night. They use their lights to communicate and synchronize their flashes across groups of thousands. They do this to attract mates, defend territory and scare predators but porch lights, streetlights and headlights are confusing them and keeping them from reading each other’s patterns so babies aren’t being born and predators are eating them.

This fran hise desperately needs better writing. I am still all in I love the characters and the zombies and production but man the writing and dialogue is so BAD. Like AWFUL. FORCED AND UNREALISTIC...it's getting frustrating.
I think it’s been a solid season so far . Some aspects of the writing are questionable, like sylvie being killed off . Some of the dialogue is kinda off beat at times but overall I think it’s a solid story !
