Funnily enough she good as did in 2005 Corrie (Yvonne). 2005 was far from the best year for Coronation Street but that episode or two where she featured and the stuff with Ray Langton (and anything to do with the Platts) were the absolute highlights of that year. Manny Jean was priceless.
I think just because Stacey was a bit of a terror teen and her bipolar couldn’t cope with it so she thought Stacey was evil, also she had an episode once and thought “Stacey was forcing her to take her meds”
Because Stacey was forced to section her or something in 2004 (a month or two before her first appearance), something she avoided as much as possible when Jean was under her care, no matter how bad and non-compliant with her medication she got. She’d be dragged to the doctors kicking and screaming but only as an outpatient or on someone else’s call (usually a concerned/vexed neighbour) if she was forced to stay there. A parent with severe bipolar disorder can disown their relatives for life if they section them (Frank Bruno didn’t speak to one of his daughters for years and years when she had to make that inevitable tough call). That was mostly why.
