You do need no larger usb then a 4 gb. And did you format the usb in the machine first. And put the design in the correct folder. There is also one thing that will keep it from reading it if the design is a smig bigger then the hoop you are needing.
Ok did you first put it in your machine and let the machine format the stick. You have to do that first. make sure you have a new blank stick and no bigger then a 8 gb a 2 is best. Once you have formated the stick in the embroidery machine then load it the way I show it in the video.
Diana Smith can I email you? my thread keeps popping and I have been trying everything. I called the CS for janome but they said it will take up to 24 hours to get back with me. I am a new beginner.

If you did and you have put your design in the machine you have to go to the little folder button on the left of the machine and push that then look of the right of screen and see if the usb is highlighted push button next to it. Sorry I am just seeing this my internet has been out. I use Hatch sof.twear
Today my might hoop 8x9 won't go in all the way. Not sure what I should be checking. Please advise.
make sure there is nothing in the way in the back so it will not go in. I have never used mighty hoops. So really can not answer correctly.

@@DianaSmithMB I put a new usb in the machine but didn't see where to choose FORMAT.
I keep taking out and putting it in every minute or so, it finally said memory error, Format? OK.
