A sea sepent would be cool as hell to see in the wilds, maybe it doesnt stop its attack if you get too close too, or even if youre on an island. Would be a neat mechanic to distinguish it from the other sea monster if it could still attack you around the beaches. A Moby Dick eque massive whale maybe. Blow hole your boat around or try to slap your boat down with its tail if you stop in the water and spin like the typical Meg tactic so you have to stay moving more. Perhaps work the harpoons into the fight as well. A big ole crab could be done interestingly, it doesnt even have to be huge, just large enough to lift your character in theory. And its another possible creature that could follow you up onto the beaches and break that percieved barrier of safety. Also crab meat is a no brainer in a pirate game. Come to think of it theres literally items with crab imagery and crustacian related items in game already too so it would make a lot of sense IMO But, if im being entirely honest elemental Megs or elemental Krakens would be a huge disapointment. A rehash of the old doesnt make it new. However i will agree the Kraken could use some love as well, just dont try and give that to us as a "new" creature please
It’s exactly what we need. A new thing to do, but still has longevity, as well as hyping up the community with new sea monsters. And splitting it into multiple drops is exactly what I’ve been wanting since season 6 did it. I just hope it’s a clean release, with as few bugs and problems as possible
It’s most likely going to be a Red Meg, the one alluded to by one of the pirates in the Ashen area, I wish I could remember her name but she has dialogue talking about a much larger, red Meg, and that being the reason she doesn’t leave the island.
I knew that there was going to be a hunters call update because there was a new section under construction on the dock and there was a fishing rod on it aswell
I found this video searching for info on the new trading company stand under construction at several outposts. 😊 I figured it was hinting at the hunter's call reps being moved to the outposts to make it easier to interact with them.
@@GaMeRfReAkLIVE sadly I noticed yesterday they took those new booths out. Hopefully that doesn't mean they're giving up or pushing back the hunters call updates. 🤔😕
I get the sentiment (as someone who wants to see the Shrouded Ghost too), but it being so rare is what makes it so special. Increase the spawn rates and it may as well just be another megalodon.
I was going to type the same until I read your comment and only have to give it a Like !!! +1 to increase the spawn chance. Or just for the "old sailors" that we have sailed tons of hours.
If the shrouded ghost wasn't so rare, why would people care? Like I get where you are coming from, I haven't seen it either. But the fact that I know how rare it is, makes the possibility of encountering it, way more exciting. If the shrouded was anywhere near a similar spawn rate to the others, it would just be treated like any other meg, just slightly harder to find. It's the rarity of the shrouded, that makes it so coveted so personally I don't see a point in making it easier to find.
The problem with the ghost is that it appears to be bugged for some players who have sailed for YEARS. Being a day 1 player with over 45 million sailed you would think I would have glimpsed it once. Where as I have come across COUNTLESS new players with less than a few weeks playing with the title. There is obviously something wrong and it’s p ing me off.
@ it’s just RnG every time an encounter spawns it has a chance of being one of three options A. Skelly ship (with the type of ship depending on your crew size) B. A Kraken (if there are no world events) and C. A Meg (and the chance of that Meg being a shrouded is insanely low, so although it is infuriating, it’s basically just luck. None of your stats will affect wether or not it will spawn.)
. Add octopus ( they will be attached on rocks with texture similar to the texture of the rocks)u can pick them with harpoon gun or by hand giving you ink so you don't see , , add hunter call mission with specific spots where fish spawn and you must dive and harpoon gun to kill them
I always wanted a giant sea turtle with an island on its back that would random spawn in, maybe it had treasure or some sorta puzzle to solve on the island.. idk
Im just imagining a meg that has fins on its side where Skeletons in cannons pop out of. They fire rarely, to not make it too hard, but a Meg/Ship hybrid would be awesome.
Honestly i would like a quest for the hunters call that lets you fight krakens and megs on demand. They can keep the spawn chances for the shrouded ghost the same and players (me included) would sail a thousand times to fight the meg to finally get their hands on the commendation... On the other hand i think it would be cool if we had a world event that includes a whirlpool. Should we ever get a sea serpent as a fightable monster, that would be a memorable way to introduce them.

In that podcast they also said it was being postponed so that they could work on improving the game’s integrity. Don’t expect it in season 15, they’ve specifically said it won’t be there.
The hunters call update is defo season 15, coming in February (hopefully). A new sea creature like a serpent will probably not come in that season however
Where did they say it won't be in season 15? They never said that. Don't spread misinformation They said that season 15 will be delayed (by only a month), and that they are staggering content release throughout the season, instead of shoving everythign right at the start
I hope the sea serpent will arrive in 2025, then I don't believe the excuse of the budget, they earned a lot this year. anyway if the npc say that it is a monster never seen before, what sense would there be in adding a new megalodon
Thanks for the video really cool I'm excited for the update I hope it's a lot better than what we have right now I hope they don't bring something stupid like to Harpoon Gun that they brought it ruined the game there's no more ship battles nobody wants to fight with their ship they just want to zip over with their Harpoon Gun so I hope this makes the game more fun again because I'm about ready to quit playing the game and I just got the game and I'm already to the point where I don't like it cuz now no one navy battles
Sorry for the very long comment but I bought this game because it was pirate ship battling did not realize that it's a zip line battle the grapple hook should not grab another player like it's a scorpion character very dumb are the developers on crack or cocaine or something like what is wrong with their heads
a better pvp mode than HG would be nice. make HG not on the open world server to not have world events part of the battle and to not have the issue 3rd ships are suddenly taking a part. i would like to get in to PVP more, but its hard to find ships on the sea during only 6 exist what is not a lot at all for such a large world and hg also have the issues i mentiont. Practice is key to learn properly, but the game is not giving the player a good tool to practice at all. for example i want to learn how to fight larger crew sizes but its obviosly not worth the time to search for a brig for 2 hrs with server hopping only to sink in less than 2 minutes, only to again search for 2 hrs again
Instead fixing the game optimization and servers they are puting new stuff that is interesting to play just few times 😂 Every update that they make is hilarious
You lost me when you said the reapers call is getting more content... Reapers are spoiled in this game. Give the content to someone else for a change! Reapers keep getting stuff time and time again. No love to athenas fortune. Im so sick of reapers constantly getting the good stuff.
Bro, the Reapers have hourglass and the ability to sell loot, that's it. Athena has Hourglass, a Voyage of Legends (and ashen variant), Voyage for the skull of destiny, Voyage for Cursed Treasure, and the Legend of the Veil. If anything, Athena has way more content than the Reapers.
@BigVince80bce I'm talking about content. They get more cosmetics than the other factions. Reapers have THREE glowing ship hulls. Athena only has one. Reapers have more cosmetics and Athena's don't. Reapers have more rewards in hourglass than Athena. They get additions to their curse, Athena's only have three curses and the third one requires rank 1000. I love the ghost curse but Athena's only have the mysterious stranger cosmetic set to work towards after that there's nothing else they earn except recolors of the exact same cosmetics just a shade of green. Reapers recently got an addition to their curse, obsidian skeleton. How is any of this fair? Reapers have been getting more and more content. Sure Athena's have legends of the vale but it's kinda boring now and the loot is mid. Skull of destiny and voyage of legends isn't something worth bragging about. It's nothing THAT special. Any pirate who played for a while would of been a legend by now and got those unlocked. I just want something special for Athena's. Give us a ship sail with a soul flame firey effect or a ghost curse hull. I just want more Athena stuff. I love my phantom hull but reapers got three glowing hulls to represent their faction. Yet none of the others have any like it.

I mean, these days you can just turn fish into the sovereigns and not even have to visit a sea-post. Surely an emissary flag would encourage people to....actually visit the faction and interact with them, which seems a good thing.
@silvercat18 people said that when sovereigns let people sell but you get more gold and rep from visiting the faction where do we draw the line emissaries are walking targets and no one needs that while fishing especially solo players
So you'd rather the guild emissary be the HC emissary in all but name? As it stands, I find it to be a joke that the Guilds are the fastest way to level up HC.

All they have to do is increase the spawn chance of the white megalodon which most people, despite having played for years, have never even seen once.

To check out Grace morrow and she talks about a shark called redmaw maybe redmaw was a Megalodon and he has awakened again he is red and 2x as big
