Hi Johnny, I used to work on fleet st at the old Molson brewery for 22 years. That lighthouse was not originally there but very close by. It was commissioned in 1861 until 1912. Whenever I looked out the window at work I would see that light house and tip top tailors. There used to be a fairly prominent baseball stadium at the bottom of bathurst. Sooo many changes. Take care brother, I really enjoy going on walks with you as I used to venture and discover downtown Toronto even as a kid 👍
Hello Jhonny .. and as always beautiful sharing adventure walk away tour and tip top shape camera work and you rock it all again .. thanks again and stay safe my friend ..
Enjoyed your commentary regarding the buildings on your walk to your favorite building, Hotel X, JS! 😅 FYI, there are plans to convert the outdoor parking lot into a park at Rees & Queens Quay. The lighthouse you saw on Fleet Street is called the Queen's Wharf Lighthouse, which was built in the 19th century. You can read about its history at: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen%27s_Wharf_Lighthouse
Hi Johnny ... when you asked if there's anyone,s channel to check out. I said jacques horne lake and I know it took you to a drone video that he did. If I had said just jacques channel you wouldn't be able to find it. Jacques does amazing drone footage. Jacques is just starting out and would love you to check out his channel. Thanks for the Sunday nights and walks through TO town
The Hotel X look is very generic. Nothing spectacular and stylish. Also the reason why the public washrooms are closed during cold weather could be due to homeless ppl who might crash in it.
Thank you for sharing this video Johnny! Good luck and keep in touch 🇨🇦❤️👍🥰🎉

Neat, thanks for sharing!
Thank you.
Toronto has really changed over the decades.
good morning everyone
Architecture is like art. If everyone loves it, or if everyone hates it, it’s not good.
Too bad you didn't get to tour the entire hotel. My favorite 5 star hotel in Toronto. Gorgeous unobstructed views from all sides. Magnificent!

I'll see if I can track it down, thanks.
x hotel looks fine until you look at the top and see what looks like shipping containers plonked on it!#
Please, what type of camera do you use?
DJI Pocket 3.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍👍👍
Toronto is full of ugly tall glass buildings so this X fits right in.
Nice long walk. Agree with you about that hotel. Definitely not pretty.
Toronto is just a concrete jungle that looks extremely boring and dull.
You probably live in deadmonton 😂💀
i agree but not all of it.. ive sseen worse cities as well lol
Slums of the future.
At the rate we're immigrating people, pretty much lol
