I love these arcade games and the noobs, who thinks this is real! In this case this dude did a 4 sec better time than the real world record on this lap. So he is a very-very-very good pixel driver or just the game is full of shiet. 0:18 in the video, if you do this (you can't because of the transmissions latency) in a real car you wrecked the transmission. 2 gears in a half second with a manual drive car? VERY REALISTIC!
The car he is driving is a racecar mx5, that is intended to endure harsh driving conditions soo the transmission would not break, plus here is someone downshifting 4 gears in less than a second th-cam.com/users/shortsbH6vR8330oY?feature=share . As for the time he did is very simple to understand why he is way faster than the irl world record, first of all in ac everything (except for tyres) are allways in perfect condition, the track is allways consistent and allways has optimal grip (no oil, water or wear on tarmac) and the car is allways at good working condition, second of all you can train way more on the simulator than you can on real life and last of all the simulator is not real life, you are not in danger at any time, if you crash you can just reset. Of course the simulator physics are not perfect, but thats not the major factor to having a better time. And if you want to see real life drivers that play simulators maybe you should acquaint yourself with Max Verstappen. Btw just because you broke your car transmission doesn't mean it happens to everyone, maybe learn how to rev match.
