Am an Alumni @ Amal Jyothi (2013 pass out) In those 4 years i became so depressed and some of its effect still remains. Both me and my parents regret joining there. The real issue was not at all what you think. Being one experienced the same situation i can tell you for sure. Problem is, there is no place for relaxing. We can't even speak to our room mate freely after 9:00 pm. We usually switch off the light pre 9pm and shut the door else we had to face inspection routine from warden and face mental torture in terms of improper dress and rooms . For many of us including me this was more like a white room torture. Continuous insults in front of parents, facing too much regulations for simple matters like not shaving regularly etc etc will break people inside out. Don't know how much of those are on going right now. But ignoring this main issue is doing injustice to the students and Alumni of AJCE This is not an emotional statement just facts. I can assure you more than fifty percent alumni will share same opinion. Not all priests are same but if some will decide to stand for students, he will be transferred soon. കുട്ടികളുടെ ഇഷ്ടങ്ങൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കി അവരെ support ചെയ്യുക. അതാണ് മാതാപിതാക്കൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടത്. College ൽ നിന്ന് എന്ത് pressure ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും വീട്ടിൽ support ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഇതുപോലുള്ള സംഭവങ്ങൾ നമുക്ക് ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ പറ്റും. ഇനീപ്പോ ഇവിടെ സംഭവിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നത് മാധ്യമങ്ങൾ ഇത് കുറച്ച് കാലം വാർത്തയാക്കും. പിന്നെ മറ്റേതൊരു സംഭവം പോലെത്തന്നെ ഇതും എല്ലാവരും മറക്കും.
ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ മാനേജ്മെന്റ് കോൺവെന്റ് school ലായിരുന്നു പഠിച്ചത്.. മുടി കെട്ടുന്നത് മുതൽ എല്ലാത്തിലും over controlling ആയിരുന്നു.. എത്രത്തോളം സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഇല്ലായ്മ അവിടെ അനുഭവിച്ചിരുന്നു എന്നത് പ്ലസ്ടു ന് സ്കൂൾ മാറിയപ്പോൾ ആണ് കൂടുതൽ മനസ്സിലായത്. കുഞ്ഞു കുട്ടികളോട് പോലും മുതിർന്നവരോട് പെരുമാറുന്ന പോലത്തെ സംസാരവും രീതികളും ആണ്. എന്ന് വച്ച് ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ management നെ മാത്രം കുറ്റം പറഞ്ഞതല്ല..
നേർച്ചയായും, നാട്ടുകാരെ ബോധിപ്പിക്കാനും പിള്ളേരെ ഓരോ മത സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ കൊണ്ട് ഇടുന്നു...... സ്വന്തം ഇഷ്ടങ്ങളും, ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് അടിമ ജീവിതം നയിക്കുന്നു...... അതിന്റെ Frustrations മുഴുവൻ ഇവർ കുട്ടികളുടെ മേൽ തീർക്കുന്നു.

അവിടെ പഠിച്ചിറങ്ങിയ പലരും കുട്ടികൾ പറയുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്...അതിനർത്ഥം അവരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ ന്യായമാണ് എന്നത് തന്നെയാണ്..ഇന്ന് തന്നെ ലൈവിൽ പ്രതിഷേധിക്കുന്ന പിള്ളേരെ അസഭ്യം പറയുന്ന അധ്യാപകനെ കണ്ടു...ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെയുള്ള അധ്യാപകർ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ആ പിള്ളേരുടെ ഗതി ഊഹിക്കാവുന്നതേയുള്ളൂ....പക്ഷെ, ഇതുകൊണ്ടൊന്നും ഒരു മാറ്റവും ഇവിടെ വരാൻ പോകുന്നില്ല... ഇതിങ്ങനെ തുടർന്നുകൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കും...
ഈ അമൽജ്യോതി കോളേജ് തൊട്ടടുത്തു കിടന്നിട്ടും കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളിക്കാർ പിള്ളേർ അത്രേം പേര് ആ ദൂരം താണ്ടിയും, ഹോസ്റ്റലിൽ നിന്നും Saintgits കോളേജിൽ പഠിക്കാൻ വന്നിരുന്നത് എന്തുകൊണ്ട എന്നു ഇന്നു മനസിലായി. ഞാൻ അവിടെ പഠിച്ച എന്റെ പഴയ സ്കൂൾമേറ്റ്സിനോട് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അറിയാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞത് ഒരു രക്ഷയില്ലാത്ത രീതിയിലായിരുന്നു സിസ്റ്റർമാരും അച്ചന്മാരും അവിടെ സദാചാര പോലീസ് കളിച്ചിരുന്നതെന്ന. എന്റെ കോളേജിലെയൊക്കെ സാറുമ്മാർ ആ കാര്യത്തിൽ വളരെ മാന്യരായിരുന്നു. ടീച്ചേർസ് ആരും ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും ഒരാളുടെ private സ്പെസിൽ ഇടിച്ചു കയറുന്നത് ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. എന്റെ നല്ല ഭാഗ്യത്തിന ഞാൻ അമൽ ജ്യോതി പോയി ചേരാതെ Saintgits ചെന്ന് ചേർന്നത്. അവിടെ നിന്നും വരുന്ന പിള്ളേർ Amal Jyothi School of Engineering എന്നൊക്കെ കളിയാക്കി പറയുന്നത് ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ ഓർക്കുന്നു. അവർ KTU വന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞു യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് തോൽക്കാൻ സാധ്യതയുള്ള പിള്ളേരെ Internal കയറ്റി വിടാതെ പൊട്ടിച്ചപ്പോൾ എന്റെ സാറുമ്മാർ എല്ലാരേയും internal കയറ്റി വിട്ടു എക്സാം എഴുതാൻ അവസരം കൊടുക്കുമായിരുന്നു. ക്ലാസിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന 60 പേരും നാളെ എന്തായാലും എഞ്ചിനിയറായി ജോലി ചെയ്യണം എന്ന മാത്രം ചിന്തയിൽ ട്രെയിൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ് വലിയൊരു കുഴപ്പം. അങ്ങേയറ്റം നോക്കിയാൽ തല്ലിപ്പടിപ്പിച്ചു പാസാക്കാം എന്നല്ലാതെ എഞ്ചിനിയർ ആകില്ല. പിള്ളേർക്ക് തീരെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം നൽകിയില്ലേൽ എന്താകും എന്നതിന് ഉദാഹരണമാണ് അമൽ ജ്യോതി. ഞാൻ അവിടെ പഠിച്ചിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ 4 വർഷത്തെ കോളേജ് ജീവിതം തന്നെ വെറുത്തു പോയേനെ. ക്ലാസ് ബങ്ക് ചെയ്യാൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഇല്ല, ഒരു ക്ലാസ് പോയാൽ പിന്നെ പഠിച്ചെടുക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല എന്നൊക്കെ അവർ പറയുന്നതിൽ എനിക്കു അർത്ഥം തോന്നുന്നില്ല. അവിടെ പഠിച്ച എന്റെ പഴയ ക്ലാസ്മേറ്റിനോട് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോഴാ Saintgits ഒക്കെ സ്വർഗ്ഗം ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു മനസ്സിലാകുന്നത്. ഗവണ്മെന്റ് കോളേജിൽ പഠിച്ചവർക്ക് ഞാൻ പറയുന്നത് തമാശയായി തോന്നിയേക്കാം, പക്ഷെ അമൽ ജ്യോതിയിലെ രീതികൾ പലതും അവിടെ പഠിച്ചവരുടെ വായിൽ നിന്നും കേട്ടിട്ട് എനിക്ക് എന്റെ കോളേജിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു തെറ്റും പറയാൻ തോന്നുന്നില്ല.
@@DarthVader-qy1hb ഞങ്ങളുടെ സാറുമ്മാർ തീരെ പഠിക്കാതെ internal 10 മാർക്ക് പോലും എഴുതി എടുക്കാഞ്ഞവരെ മാത്രേ പ്രൊമോട്ട് ചെയ്യാതെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടുള്ളു. ബാക്കി ഉള്ളവർക്ക് assignment ഇട്ടും, കുറച്ചൂടെ കൂട്ടി കൊടുത്തും യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി എഴുതിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. പിള്ളേർ അവസാനം പഠിക്കും എന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയില ഇതൊക്കെ ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. പലരും പ്രതീക്ഷ കാത്തൂ. പക്ഷേ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അമൽ ജ്യോതിയുടെ അത്ര pass percentage 2nd sem മുതൽ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. എന്റെ കോളേജിൽ പഠിച്ചവർ എല്ലാം പാസ്സായി. അമൽ ജ്യോതി പഠിച്ച പിള്ളേർ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി തന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു തമിഴ് നാട്ടിൽ പോയി ഉടായിപ്പ് ബിടെക് ഒപ്പിച്ചവർ കുറെയുണ്ട്.

My opinion is our education system is designed to fail the students. 🛑 In the west a student may start his college to become a doctor, but later may change his major and come out as a computer engineer. 🛑 Some other student may join for computer engineering but later come out with a finance degree. 🛑 Or someone will join engineering and will come out with two degrees, one in Engineering and other in Arts. 🛑 We too need such flexibility, and also need councilors to advise them for better future career. 🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑
👉I wish the internet era & Ur channel everythg existed while i started a UG course. Since thr was not mch awareness abt options in my time i was also forced into medical field though i didnt lik by my Toxic parents. My ambition was to bcom a pilot or join the indian army wth somethg related. But my foolish parents took suggestions from around the uneducated buffons so called relatives who made comment on my ambition "pilot = a qualified driver" & amry = die with gun shots & all these r not meant for girls, its male dominant field, girls can nevr succeed or lead a peacful life in those. Even nw sometimes i regret for wt is happening in my life for a decision that was nver mine. They just eat my brain since am not settled properly bcoz i had a journey of ups & downs. And they pushed my sister too to the same field though she nvr liked it. Many of ur points r so relatable.
Don't generalise, I studied in St Thomas College Pala for 3 years and never had any worse experiences. There are many problems in private management institutions but don't tag it as Christian management institutes are the problematic ones. My fellow friend from kannur once said to me that he was forced to change from a cbse school when he was just 8 years because the management said he is below average, this happened to a Muslim from a Muslim management school..so neither the religion... private management institutions always do such horrible acts whether its school, college or any other
I studies my school in christain management, sisters father's really heartless people, their frustration everything they pour on students, even i have many bad experiences in their hospital institutions, jesus word is still right that they are "VELLA ADICHA SHAVA KUDIRANGAL" matha pitha guru daivam has to be remove because now no one have the qualities for that title.

She died after getting result ,she failed for 12 subject out of 16, so she have to study with her juniors, my brother faced same issue, he tried to kill himself,but thankfully nothing happened.
I have seen people in the comments belittle students saying all these are part of “discipline “ but this mentality is right where the problem begins we tend to rub of injustices that we face from authority by cultivating this mentality in our youths . We are taught that any encroachment into our private life by an authority ( schools and colleges are ok ) even the violation of our fundamental rights . I can’t even the imagine the times my rights have been violated by schools and sugarcoated them as discipline be it the indecent frisking done during Valentine’s Day to see if somebody has bought a freaking diary milk 😢

അതിനു ഇവിടെ ആരാ bro മാനേജ്മെന്റിനെ സപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തത്? ഈ കോളേജിൽ ഇതിനു മുൻപും ഇത്തരം പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്, അത് വാർത്തയും ആയിട്ടുണ്ട്, എന്നിട്ടും അവിടെ മക്കളെ ചേർക്കുന്ന parents ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. കോളേജിൽ നടക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ വീട്ടിൽ പറയാൻ കുട്ടികൾ മടി കാണിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതിൽ പേരെന്റ്സിന് തീർച്ചയായും പങ്കുണ്ട്, മാനേജ്മെന്റിനെതിരെ സമരം ചെയ്യുന്ന മറ്റു വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ പിന്തിരിപ്പിക്കാൻ അവരുടെ പേരെന്റ്സിനെ വിളിച്ചു പറയാൻ മാനേജ്മെന്റിനെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ച ഘടകവും ഇതൊക്കെ തന്നെയാണ്. അതെ ഇവിടെ ചൂണ്ടി കാട്ടിയുള്ളൂ, അല്ലാതെ മാനേജ്‌മവന്റിനെ സപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തതല്ല.

Appoint a commission to enquire the conditions in all private hostels. Nursing students are suffering a lot .There are hostels which allow telephone only 15 minutes a week. Since most of the students here are girls,they are suffering a lot.
അമൽ ജ്യോതിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായ ആ സംഭവം കണ്ടപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് എന്റെ സ്കൂൾ കാലം ഓർമ്മ വന്നു. ഞാൻ ഒരു girls സ്‌കൂളിൽ ആണ് പഠിച്ചത്. അവിടെ ടീച്ചറുമാരും സ്ത്രീകളാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ അവിടെ സദാചാരം എന്നു പറയുന്നതിൽ മുങ്ങി ശ്വാസം മുട്ടിയാണ് ഓരോ കുട്ടികളും ജീവിക്കുന്നത്. അവിടുത്തെ ഒരു പ്രധാന item ആയിരുന്നു 'കേസ് കട്ട്' ചാപ്പ കുത്തൽ. ഒരു പെണ്കുട്ടി ഒരു ചെക്കന്റെ കൂടെ സംസാരിക്കുകയോ, സ്കൂള് വിട്ട് ബസ് സ്റ്റോപ്പിൽ വേറെ സ്‌കൂളിലെ ചെക്കന്മാരുമായി ചിരിച്ചു കളിച്ചു നിൽക്കുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ ആ പെണ്കുട്ടിയെ പിന്നെ 'കേസ് കട്ട്', ഇളക്കക്കാരി എന്ന പെരുകളിലാവും അറിയപ്പെടുക. ഇനി അവധി സമയത്താണെങ്കിൽ പോലും ഇതേ ടീച്ചർമാർ അവിടെ പഠിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പെണ്കുട്ടിയെ ഏതെങ്കിലും ആണുങ്ങളുടെ കൂടെ കണ്ടാൽ അത് പിന്നെ ആ കൊച്ചിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ അവസ്സാനം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ മതിയെല്ലോ അതുപോലെ വിഷയം ആക്കും അവർ, എന്തിന് കസിൻ ചേട്ടന്മാരുടെ കൂടെ നടക്കുന്നത് പോലും വലിയ വിഷയം ആക്കുന്ന സംഭവം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആണുങ്ങളുമായി ഇടപഴക്കാതെ 5 ആം ക്ലാസ്സു മുതൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന പെണ്കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ആണുങ്ങളെ കാണുമ്പോ കൗതുകം ഉണ്ടാവരുത് എന്നു പറയുന്നത് എന്ത് logic ആണ് എന്ന് എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലാവുന്നില്ല. ചില ടീച്ചർമാർ കുട്ടികളെ പറ്റി ഇല്ലാത്ത കഥകൾ ഉണ്ടാകുക അത് 4 പേരോട് പറയുക എന്നതിലൊക്കെ വല്ലാത്ത വിനോദം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നവർ ആണ്. ചില കുട്ടികളെ അവിടെ കലോത്സവത്തിന് പഠിപ്പിക്കാൻ വരുന്ന സാർ മാരുടെ കൂടെ കൂട്ടികളെ പറ്റി കൂട്ടി പറഞ്ഞു രസിക്കുന്ന ചില സംഭവങ്ങളും ഞാൻ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരു ടീച്ചറിന്റെ മകളാണ് നിങ്ങളെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ ആ സ്‌കൂളിൽ നിന്നും pass out ആയാലും മനസ്സമാധാനം കിട്ടും എന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുകയെ വേണ്ട. നിങ്ങളെ പറ്റിയുള്ള കഥ ഉണ്ടാക്കാനുള്ള content തപ്പി ടീച്ചർമാർ വീണ്ടും നടന്നുകൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കും, നിങ്ങൾ സ്‌കൂളും കഴിഞ്ഞു കോളേജിൽ പഠിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ കൂട്ടുകാരന്മാർ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളെ പറ്റിയുള്ള പുതിയ കഥകളും, കഥാ പ്രസംഗങ്ങളും, നോവലുകളും ആ staff room ഇൽ ഫ്രീ കോപ്പി ആയിട്ട് ഇറങ്ങും. കുട്ടികളെ ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വസ്ത്രം വച്ച് വിലയിരുത്തുന്നത് അവിടുത്തെ ടീച്ചേഴ്സിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു വിനോദം ആയിരുന്നു, മാത്രമല്ല കുട്ടികളുടെ ശരീരത്തെ പറ്റി കമെന്റ് ചെയ്യുക ബോഡി ഷെയിം ചെയ്യുക എന്നതോക്കെ അവരുടെ മറ്റു വിനോദങ്ങളിൽ പെട്ടവയാണ്. നിങ്ങൾക്ക് Breast size കൂടുത്തലാണോ പിന്നെ തീർച്ച നിങ്ങളെ പറ്റി കമെന്റ് ചെയ്യാൻ, slut ഷെയിം ചെയ്യാൻ പല ടീച്ചേഴ്സും ഒട്ടും മടിക്കില്ല. ഞാനൊക്കെ അതിന്റെ ഇറകളായിരുന്നു. Breast കൂടുതലുള്ള കുട്ടി stage ഇൽ ഡാൻസ് കളിച്ചാൽ അതായിരിക്കും പിന്നെ അവിടുത്തെ വലിയ ചർച്ചാ വിഷയം. വെളുത്ത കുട്ടികളെ ഡാൻസിനും, പാട്ടിനുമൊക്കെ എടുക്കാനാണ് ചില ടീച്ചേഴ്സ് താല്പര്യം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുക. ഇവരുടെ ഈ പിടിച്ചു അടച്ചു പൂട്ടി ഇട്ടുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു treatment മൂലം പല കുട്ടികളും പല ട്രാപ്പുകളിലും ചെന്നു പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആണുങ്ങളെ കാണാതെ 10 - 17 വയസ്സു വരെ വളരുന്ന കുട്ടികളാണ്. വഴിയിലുള്ള ആണുങ്ങളോട് പോലും മിണ്ടാൻ സമ്മതിക്കില്ല, അങ്ങനെ ഉള്ള കുട്ടികൾക്ക് നല്ല കൂട്ടുകെട്ടും ചീത്ത കൂട്ടുകെട്ടും അറിയില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ എന്തെങ്കിലും honey trap പോലെ ഉള്ള ചേട്ടന്മാരു ചിരിച്ചു കാണിച്ചാൽ മുന്നും പിന്നും നോക്കാതെ ഇറങ്ങി പോയിട്ടുള്ള പിള്ളേരുണ്ട് ആ സ്‌കൂളിൽ. അങ്ങനെ ഒരു സംഭവത്തിൽ പെട്ട ഒരു കുട്ടിയെ ടീച്ചേഴ്സ് തന്നെ rescue ചെയ്താലും പിന്നെ ആ കുട്ടിയുടെ സ്കൂൾ ജീവിതം എന്നു പറയുന്നത് വലിയ ദുരിതം പിടിച്ചതായിരിക്കും. കാരണം പിന്നെ മുതൽ ആ കുട്ടിയെ "കേസ് കട്ടെന്ന്" ചാപ്പ കുത്തി കഴിഞ്ഞല്ലോ. ഈ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ girls only / boys only സ്‌കൂളുകൾ വളരെ അപകടം പിടിച്ചവയാണ്. ഒരു കാലത്ത് women empowerment എന്ന നല്ല ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോട് കൂടി ആണ് girls സ്കൂൾ ഒക്കെ അന്നത്തെ മഠത്തിലാമ്മമാർ ഒക്കെ തുടങ്ങിയതെങ്കിലും ഇന്നത്തെ കാലത്ത് അത് mixed ആയി പഠിക്കേണ്ടത് ആവശ്യമാണ്. കാരണം ആജീവനാന്ത കാലം നമ്മൾ പെണ്ണുങ്ങളെ മാത്രമല്ല കാണാൻ പോകുന്നത്.
ചില മിഡിയകൾ ഈ സമരത്തിന് ശക്തമായ പിന്തുണ കൊടുക്കുന്നത് കാണുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ മനസ്സിലാകും പിന്നിലെ ലക്ഷ്യം. Thodupuzha Al-Azar college ഇൽ ഇന്ന് ഒരു ആദ്മഹത്യ നടന്നു. തികച്ചും ന്യായവും, മതേതരവുമായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് ആർക്കും പരാതി ഉണ്ടാവാൻ വഴിയില്ല.

You have made an indepth good analysis. The girl who died failed in twelve subjects out of the sixteen she completed, and must have had an upbraiding from the HOD. It is natural it happens in every college. These children who entered only on the strength of the cash of their parents are not used to rigor of good academics and when corrected by authorities they immediately wilt. Students who have scored well in school exams and in entrance exams and enter the best institutions do not fail so much. And even when they receive a hard talk from authorities they are able to understand the good intention behind the talk. And they improve. If you check the school grades and the entrance examination grades of this girl who died you will it to be very poor. Yet the management took her into the course thinking they can push her through. But sadly they could not do so. She was a misfit in the course. I can understand all the four teams who are involved. Parents. Students. Teachers. Management. We will come to the Students last. First the parents, after bringing up a child for eighteen years the parents should clearly have an idea of the apptitude of their children and place them in appropriate courses. But when they, seeking social status, misplace them in courses where they are a misfit things get tragic. Sad. Teachers and Management have some common interests like running the education institution successfully and getting fresh students in the following years because of the high pass percentage they have attained. So teachets will be strict. Ofcouse the management will be pressuring the teachers to improve the success rate of students under them. Now lets come to the students by eighteen years of age they should have done enough introspection to know the career they are best fit into to make a good living. If they get into courses for which they have no apptitude they will suffer and could land up in fatal depression. The management and the teachers cannot let you loose as you wish for all will fail. The management which had taken the money from the parents will be answerable. The teachers will be strict for if they are held responsible for the students' failures they will lose their jobs. The students should realise their academic limitations and should cooperate with the management and teachers so that it becomes a win-win situation for all. Students become engineers and the management and teachers can keep up the prestige of the institution and continue getting new batches every year. Hopefully there will be sufficient introsoection among all those who are comcerned.

This is my own experience from ajce. I wasted my good 4 years there. The trauma the institution gave was too much that it took me years to come out. I joined the college after studying in 4 schools of which 3 were Christian management. So itself I would say AJCE management is different. They are cruel, cunning and manipulative. They will just burn you down instead of making a ground for flourishing.

My sister is good in academics and she got full A+ in plus two. And she wanted to take nursing as her career. But since she was taken computer science as main she had to join General Nursing course under Christian management. The mental torture the students needs to suffer is unimaginable and nothing less than ajce .And the worst part is majority parents will be there to support the mundane rules and decisions taken by management. We supported her to drop the course in 2nd year.I am really concerned about the remaining students there who doesn’t have family support😕

Children must be groomed from young age by the parents to be bold enough to own up their mistakes and and strong enough to face realities of life. It is absolutely painfull to see that human beings irrespective of age, finding suicde as a problem solver.

Not as severe as this however related,There is private university in Delhi region, very famous and very big campus with 7 ,8 different outlets to eat but none of them serve non veg and they are not allowed to eat non veg on campus because the management family is vegetarian. And none of the families or students consider this as a problem.we have a long way to go to respect people's choice and privacy

The rift is only in the minds of those who brought religion into this issue. Even the Christian management of the college, PC George, Christians in general etc. were all of the opinion that both Joseph and the hand choppers did wrong. People had long since forgotten about it, but only in the last few years, the Christian authorities brought it up to further their crusade against the Muslims. Now, Joseph is some sort of saint who did nothing wrong.

In those 4 years i became so depressed and some of its effect still remains. Both me and my parents regret joining there.
The real issue was not at all what you think. Being one experienced the same situation i can tell you for sure.
Problem is, there is no place for relaxing. We can't even speak to our room mate freely after 9:00 pm. We usually switch off the light pre 9pm and shut the door else we had to face inspection routine from warden and face mental torture in terms of improper dress and rooms . For many of us including me this was more like a white room torture. Continuous insults in front of parents, facing too much regulations for simple matters like not shaving regularly etc etc will break people inside out.
Don't know how much of those are on going right now. But ignoring this main issue is doing injustice to the students and Alumni of AJCE
This is not an emotional statement just facts. I can assure you more than fifty percent alumni will share same opinion.
Not all priests are same but if some will decide to stand for students, he will be transferred soon. Fr.Francis was an example at that time

College ൽ നിന്ന് എന്ത് pressure ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും വീട്ടിൽ support ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഇതുപോലുള്ള സംഭവങ്ങൾ നമുക്ക് ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ പറ്റും. ഇനീപ്പോ ഇവിടെ സംഭവിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നത് മാധ്യമങ്ങൾ ഇത് കുറച്ച് കാലം വാർത്തയാക്കും. പിന്നെ മറ്റേതൊരു സംഭവം പോലെത്തന്നെ ഇതും എല്ലാവരും മറക്കും.

ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ മാനേജ്മെന്റ് കോൺവെന്റ് school ലായിരുന്നു പഠിച്ചത്.. മുടി കെട്ടുന്നത് മുതൽ എല്ലാത്തിലും over controlling ആയിരുന്നു.. എത്രത്തോളം സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഇല്ലായ്മ അവിടെ അനുഭവിച്ചിരുന്നു എന്നത് പ്ലസ്ടു ന് സ്കൂൾ മാറിയപ്പോൾ ആണ് കൂടുതൽ മനസ്സിലായത്. കുഞ്ഞു കുട്ടികളോട് പോലും മുതിർന്നവരോട് പെരുമാറുന്ന പോലത്തെ സംസാരവും രീതികളും ആണ്.
എന്ന് വച്ച് ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ management നെ മാത്രം കുറ്റം പറഞ്ഞതല്ല..

ഈ അമൽജ്യോതി കോളേജ് തൊട്ടടുത്തു കിടന്നിട്ടും കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളിക്കാർ പിള്ളേർ അത്രേം പേര് ആ ദൂരം താണ്ടിയും, ഹോസ്റ്റലിൽ നിന്നും Saintgits കോളേജിൽ പഠിക്കാൻ വന്നിരുന്നത് എന്തുകൊണ്ട എന്നു ഇന്നു മനസിലായി.
ഞാൻ അവിടെ പഠിച്ച എന്റെ പഴയ സ്കൂൾമേറ്റ്സിനോട് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അറിയാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞത് ഒരു രക്ഷയില്ലാത്ത രീതിയിലായിരുന്നു സിസ്റ്റർമാരും അച്ചന്മാരും അവിടെ സദാചാര പോലീസ് കളിച്ചിരുന്നതെന്ന.
എന്റെ കോളേജിലെയൊക്കെ സാറുമ്മാർ ആ കാര്യത്തിൽ വളരെ മാന്യരായിരുന്നു. ടീച്ചേർസ് ആരും ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും ഒരാളുടെ private സ്പെസിൽ ഇടിച്ചു കയറുന്നത് ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.
എന്റെ നല്ല ഭാഗ്യത്തിന ഞാൻ അമൽ ജ്യോതി പോയി ചേരാതെ Saintgits ചെന്ന് ചേർന്നത്. അവിടെ നിന്നും വരുന്ന പിള്ളേർ Amal Jyothi School of Engineering എന്നൊക്കെ കളിയാക്കി പറയുന്നത് ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ ഓർക്കുന്നു.
അവർ KTU വന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞു യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് തോൽക്കാൻ സാധ്യതയുള്ള പിള്ളേരെ Internal കയറ്റി വിടാതെ പൊട്ടിച്ചപ്പോൾ എന്റെ സാറുമ്മാർ എല്ലാരേയും internal കയറ്റി വിട്ടു എക്സാം എഴുതാൻ അവസരം കൊടുക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
ക്ലാസിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന 60 പേരും നാളെ എന്തായാലും എഞ്ചിനിയറായി ജോലി ചെയ്യണം എന്ന മാത്രം ചിന്തയിൽ ട്രെയിൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ് വലിയൊരു കുഴപ്പം. അങ്ങേയറ്റം നോക്കിയാൽ തല്ലിപ്പടിപ്പിച്ചു പാസാക്കാം എന്നല്ലാതെ എഞ്ചിനിയർ ആകില്ല.
പിള്ളേർക്ക് തീരെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം നൽകിയില്ലേൽ എന്താകും എന്നതിന് ഉദാഹരണമാണ് അമൽ ജ്യോതി. ഞാൻ അവിടെ പഠിച്ചിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ 4 വർഷത്തെ കോളേജ് ജീവിതം തന്നെ വെറുത്തു പോയേനെ. ക്ലാസ് ബങ്ക് ചെയ്യാൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഇല്ല, ഒരു ക്ലാസ് പോയാൽ പിന്നെ പഠിച്ചെടുക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല എന്നൊക്കെ അവർ പറയുന്നതിൽ എനിക്കു അർത്ഥം തോന്നുന്നില്ല. അവിടെ പഠിച്ച എന്റെ പഴയ ക്ലാസ്മേറ്റിനോട് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോഴാ Saintgits ഒക്കെ സ്വർഗ്ഗം ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു മനസ്സിലാകുന്നത്. ഗവണ്മെന്റ് കോളേജിൽ പഠിച്ചവർക്ക് ഞാൻ പറയുന്നത് തമാശയായി തോന്നിയേക്കാം, പക്ഷെ അമൽ ജ്യോതിയിലെ രീതികൾ പലതും അവിടെ പഠിച്ചവരുടെ വായിൽ നിന്നും കേട്ടിട്ട് എനിക്ക് എന്റെ കോളേജിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു തെറ്റും പറയാൻ തോന്നുന്നില്ല.

എന്റെ കോളേജിൽ പഠിച്ചവർ എല്ലാം പാസ്സായി. അമൽ ജ്യോതി പഠിച്ച പിള്ളേർ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി തന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു തമിഴ് നാട്ടിൽ പോയി ഉടായിപ്പ് ബിടെക് ഒപ്പിച്ചവർ കുറെയുണ്ട്.

Since thr was not mch awareness abt options in my time i was also forced into medical field though i didnt lik by my Toxic parents. But my foolish parents took suggestions from around the uneducated buffons so called relatives who made comment on my ambition "pilot = a qualified driver" & amry = die with gun shots & all these r not meant for girls, its male dominant field, girls can nevr succeed or lead a peacful life in those. Even nw sometimes i regret for wt is happening in my life for a decision that was nver mine. They just eat my brain since am not settled properly bcoz i had a journey of ups & downs. Don't generalise, I studied in St Thomas College Pala for 3 years and never had any worse experiences. There are many problems in private management institutions but don't tag it as Christian management institutes are the problematic ones.

Now lets come to the students by eighteen years of age they should have done enough introspection to know the career they are best fit into to make a good living. If they get into courses for which they have no apptitude they will suffer and could land up in fatal depression. The management and the teachers cannot let you loose as you wish for all will fail. The management which had taken the money from the parents will be answerable. The teachers will be strict for if they are held responsible for the students' failures they will lose their jobs. The students should realise their academic limitations and should cooperate with the management and teachers so that it becomes a win-win situation for all. Students become engineers and the management and teachers can keep up the prestige of the institution and continue getting new batches every year. Hopefully there will be sufficient introsoection among all those who are comcerned.

This is my own experience from ajce. I wasted my good 4 years there. The trauma the institution gave was too much that it took me years to come out. I joined the college after studying in 4 schools of which 3 were Christian management. So itself I would say AJCE management is different. They are cruel, cunning and manipulative. They will just burn you down instead of making a ground for flourishing.

My sister is good in academics and she got full A+ in plus two. And she wanted to take nursing as her career. But since she was taken computer science as main she had to join General Nursing course under Christian management. The mental torture the students needs to suffer is unimaginable and nothing less than ajce .And the worst part is majority parents will be there to support the mundane rules and decisions taken by management. We supported her to drop the course in 2nd year.I am really concerned about the remaining students there who doesn’t have family support😕

Not as severe as this however related,There is private university in Delhi region, very famous and very big campus with 7 ,8 different outlets to eat but none of them serve non veg and they are not allowed to eat non veg on campus because the management family is vegetarian.
