Just because it looks good doesn’t mean it will feel good to play, I love Jet Set Radio and THPS, but I’ve played enough clones to know that it’s rare for a game of this style to nail the controls and not feel either floaty or too heavy, this could be a massive flop.

I don't really see the issue with the art style. It looks like what jet set radio fans are already familiar with and like. If there was going to be an evolution of this art style I'd be expecting it from Sega, not an indie dev with an indie budget.
Do you remember how much the original JSRs were floaty? It sure was something you had to get used to. Still, Team Reptile seem to have modernized the game feel so I'm not too worried.
