Enjoy Things like this to the Fullest. I recently have been diagnosed with Cancer & it has spread through alot of my body. There is a ton of things that I Won't be able to do again & only part of the bucket list is complete. So get out & explore what the world has to offer push the limits & May God Bless Both of You . Enjoy Every bit that life has to offer While you can.
My brother my advice to you is.... From the bottom of your heart, genuinely ask God to guide you to the truth. Ultimately we all here for a short time... Whether it's perceived as a long short time or short short time. Learn what us Muslims believe about Jesus... And all the other prophets and messengers. Pray well for you. Ameen
I’ve red stories where people had prostate cancer stag 4 but they changed their diet to natural herbs and organic And eating veg raw for nutrition He blended foods for about 2 years he had his pictures of being ready for chemotherapy then changed Then the doctors are baffled how he did it. He explained and the way he done it and tells his story is amazing ! He’s a full business man now but I’ll try find link to it. You can find stuff like that on TH-cam I hope this helps and wish you all best hopefully on recovery 🙏
My one dream hike is to go up there with a fellow girlfriend/Fiancé if I had one, and stay for the night just like this. I love fire look outs, I use a website where it shows all of them, and have some of them saved on my maps but just never completed that bucket list yet 😞
Park Butte Fire Lookout. I have stayed in this lookout many times with my kids over the last 30 years and have hiked on Easton Glacier many times along the Railroad Grade Trail. I hike these trails every year. My son actually rolled down this hill but not from the top. It was around the side down below. I had to carry his backpack and mine all the way back out to get him to the hospital.
I'm from New England but did live in Tacoma and Auburn Washington for three years in the 80s. I found the state to be very beautiful. The scenery here is astounding. Thank you for sharing.
Safety tip. Never sit next to a pot of boiling water. If you bump it you may have a serious medical emergency. I wouldn't want you two getting hurt. Love the videos.
I love your videos. You 2 make me smile. Consider staying warm in your tent when there's no wood stove. I couldn't believe there wasn't a stove in that Lookout!!! 😊 put the tent up indoors!!! A survival tip.
Amen! I recently lost my husband of 56 years and I wised we had done more and taken more risk . I will be praying for you and I will pray for those like you. Live I’ve even though y ou have a diagnosis. If you are not too sick . 🎀✝️✝️✝️🥰💕👣👣
Fire looks are always great for a top notch view point !! You did well , great hike !! Back in the 1960’s I used to work in fire lookouts for an agency!! Always enjoyed it!!
I remember getting up into the Granite Mountain fire lookout when things got a wee bit nasty...So, I just chilled there an hour and the storm abated... One side of it was completely ice blasted, it was aweosme.
This footage is as , or more ,beautiful than the cinematography I have seen in all of the many years I have been watching films . Thank you for a wondrous sight.
You have some great wilderness in the USA. I spent 4 months working at a adventure camp in NH 2009 and was amazed by scale of forest and mountains. Here in UK your never really that far from a road or settlement 👍
The ranger lookout on Mt Cardigan in New Hampshire was always wonderful. Besides seeing about 100 miles on a clear day you could feel the tower swaying in the wind . Heavy wind and rain against the windows. I imagine the ranger all alone in the evenings , cold and a bit spooky. Great place for ghost stories.
Y’all are so cute!!! I love that y’all are seeing the world but please take y’all’s safety seriously.. the world will is a beautiful place but it also can be scary place as well.. praying for safe travels 🙏🙏🙏
Huckleberries saved my life in the Montana Beartooths. I gave 5 of my kids money for food to pack into Silver Lake past Mystic Lake, 18 miles round trip. We build a raft and spent the night on the island on Island Lake. I thought nothing of them buying all candy. Candy sustains kids, not grownups. There was a large area with said berries on the island. I spent an hour eating huckleberries to get my energy back. Then we went to Silver Lake next morning.
My father-in-law manned a tower in the 1930's in Montana. The tower was torn down but we still have the letters he wrote his parents. He had to hike for his water, food brought in by pack horses. One man in another tower had a working radio and one night once a week he would play the radio over the wires. That was the only music he heard once a week!
I saw the glacier video first and then watched more. I loved this video - it’s one of the best camping videos I’ve seen. The location is bizarre and the quality of the footage is impressive. Keep it up!
Beautiful scenery up that high. Love that view. I would not go up that high camping. Height to a point does not agree with me. To those that like it is great.
My first time watching. That looked fun since I've used old Forest Service cabins and fire lookout for shelter many time here in Washington. Leave it better than it was when you got there is the unwritten rule around here. New Subscriber here!
Nice video, loved the view from the lookout. Going to binge your videos to see what other areas would be interesting to experience. Thanks for providing us an insight into the Americas! :)
@@TravelersTale I’m binging on all y’all’s videos as we speak right now I wish I could’ve made me a bucket list when I was younger and did this but now I have u guys taken me along Thank you friends 👍🏽👍🏽🙏🏽😎😎
MRE packs are surprisingly good. A friend of mine gave me a case and I ate them all. The kind where you snap the thing and it heats up and you shake it and you let it in there for like 10 minutes and you got a nice hot meal. The Brown packs
Absolutely beautiful site. I backpack with a compact cooker but same as you with a metal cup. Ok voice of experience here. No need to boil water in the pot and spill it pouring it into the metal cup. Just boil the water in the metal cup. Simple. Hey no heat in that place? Good luck kids. You will have great stories.
I think this was the first video I saw of you!!! Well worth a second visit...16:28 cool shot, apple owes you some bit coin lol signing the log book? The conditions that content creators endure to produce their channels is admirable and taken for granted, Thanks!!!
Which fire lookout is this? The the Wife and I love to explore and learn the history of Fire Lookouts here in Washington. Her grandmother's brother was stationed up at High Rock Lookout for 2 summers back in the day when it was in use.
That's called glamping in style. How do I get information on where the trail head is and where do I get information on all the other fire lookouts available? I found one in Canada that is supper cool but that was before Covid. It's best to sleep naked for warmth. Also, you can get matching sleeping bags that have zippers on the opposite side of each bag so that you can zip them up together and snuggle up together. When you winter camp on the snow or frozen ground, you need both a rigid foam mat and an air blow up to keep you separated from the ground.

It's fantastic there's a place freely available like that, yet it hasn't been trashed. What an incredible location!
One of the best in the state!
That's because nature loving hikers are decent folk.

Because people trashy enough to vandalise, couln't be bothered to ruin such a nice place.

When I was younger I loved winter camping it was such a fun challenge..But, with the right equipment it was never scary or cold.:)..

How you keep warm is 90% of the fun for watching.
Hahaha we’re really gonna have to improvise this winter! Temps are dropping!

Always amazed by how it can snow any month in Washington! ❄️❄️
Too funny , I was like , wait a sec , that thumbnail looks just like the dude in this vid !
I live here and can confirm that. We had snow and freezing rain last week and now close to 60 today and now more snow possible for next week.
Such gentle, beautiful people.

You can open your tent inside for a warmer spot (a microclimate). Saw that on Provident Prepper and I'm sure it works. Try it next time.
This was a great video and I’m so glad you showed us around inside and looked in all the drawers!

Where's the blizzard?
What an amazing view, and those drone shots of how precarious the lookout is positioned were gorgeous.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
That drone shot would make a dramatic painting, as well.
The view was Spectacular! I wish they had put a wood stove. That would have been perfect. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep if it was so cold. 🥶

Fantastic, stunning
Definitely entertaining and beautiful scenery…be safe…
There was either power or a fireplace inside at one point. They don’t send rangers out to freeze. Too bad you didn’t figure that out.
That looks.....safe. 👀
